This Awareness also suggests that children need to bepresented with the skills that help them to learn,--th eskills which teach children, the tools whereby they ma ylearn more faster . This Awareness suggests that many sue rtools as cause and effect ; the ability to recognize cause swhich bring forth effects, the ability to recognize the ou tstanding quality of something, the uniqueness of some-thing, as opposed to merely the glitter or the mass o fsomething .

This Awareness indicates that qualities of perception ,whereby different types of observation are taught ; thesecan also be beneficial . This Awareness indicates that children being taught how to think clearly in terms of stripp-ing away the confusion and looking at the heart of thematter,--this can also be important, This Awareness sugg-ests also, that children may be taught how to see th eheart of the matter, and how certain things can be adde dto enhance that which is the heart of the matter, or t oconfuse and hide that which is the heart of the matter ;so that the mind of these children learn the techniquesof camouflage, as well as seeing through the camouflag eand deception, to the clarity involved .

This Awareness indicates this may be applied in term sof literature, in terms of discussions, lectures, in terms o fart, or in various other forms of learning . This Awarenessindicates that this may also be found in terms of math -ematics, whereby certain things are thrown in as tricks orconfusion, with the children being warned that there arecertain tricks and confusions within these areas, and tha tthey are to recognize these and remove these blocks o rcircumvent these, This Awareness indicates that in thismanner, children may be taught to look beyond surfacesat the heart of the issue or the concern .

This Awareness suggests that when a child makes anerror, and you can either assist the child in recognizingthe error, or you can point out the error without an em-otional charge that causes the child to feel badly for hav-ing erred,--this is important . This Awareness indicates tha tchildren need to be able to recognize mistakes withou tfeeling badly about such mistakes, so that they can accep tthe error and go on to correct and improve in futur eactions . This Awareness indicates that wherein a criticis mis charged and the child feels badly about having mad ean error, this causes the child to lose initiative and becom efearful of making mistakes .

This Awareness indicates that it is important to putemotion into the praise and make the child feel goo dabout successes, but to be rather matter-of-fact abou tan error . There is nothing wrong with saying, "Sorry ,Joe, that isn't correct . Can you find the correct ans-wer?" Then, when Joe finds the correct answer, every -one may cheer, clap their hands, or you may simpl ygive praise in an emotional way; so that the child feel sthe thrill of having found the correct answer, but neve rfeels the sting of having been in error. This Awarenessindicates that this is the most appropriate method fo rinstilling joy and excitement in the learning processwithout

With all the new school books etc ., and technique sbeing introduced, or have been introduced recently ,is there any other area that might be considere ddeceptive?

COSMIC AWARENESS :

This Awareness indicates that many of the newschoolbooks are controlled by certain large publish ihouses on the East coast, which are in fact associ aand working with, or controlled by those forces whic hare attempting to set up a future control of the masses ,and which are in fact working in part through th echildren's school and through their books, to preparethese children for activities which will become social pro -grams as these children become older .

This Awareness indicates an example being that som eof these books contain brief stories which are in fact pol •itically oriented toward certain policies that will later beimplemented in society . This Awareness indicates an ex-ample being the story of a child whose father is hoardin gfood for fear that there will be a food-shortage, and thechild assists in helping the father to see that this is no tright; but the father, not recognizing the child's suggest-ions, creates a dilemma, so the child tells the teache rthat his father is storing food, hoarding food in such amanner, and the child is then praised for informing o nthe father, and the teacher informs authorities ; and theauthorities contact the father, and the father sees theerror in his ways, and the child is a hero .

This Awareness indicates that this as a story whic hhas circulated in some books in public schools recentlyand is that which is a form of programming for futur esocial policies that will require the child to inform on th eparents . This Awareness indicates that teachers of schoolsmay wish to notice such stories, and if they cannot haveinfluence in avoiding the use of these books and stories ,they may at least be able to circumvent or explain, or a tleast not focus upon the story to such an extent as isdamaging to the relationship between children and parentsat later times .

This Awareness indicates that there are some school swherein members of Cosmic Awareness Communication sand other organizations teaching in the schools, have i nfact given their children information regarding the bank-ing system, the Beast system, the Electronic Funds Tran-sfer System, so that many young childien are alread ywell-aware of what these various policies and plans areabout, and are informing other children . This Awareness indicates that teachers may also hel pto focus attention of young people on the ways to fin dand assist a society to bring about harmony and peace ,through cooperation being made more important tha ncompetition . This Awareness indicates that most publi cschools stress and emphasize competition as a way of life ,and avoid the promotion of cooperation, except whe nattempting to develop a team which is in competitio nwith another team. This Awareness indicates that teacherswho can help children recognize the value of cooperation ,of entities helping each other so that all win and nonelose; this can be of greater importance than any of th eother courses taught .

This Awareness indicates that the areas of competitionin school are actually mostly designed to lead boys an dgirls into future roles in society . The child learning tocompete in grade school, moving into high school foot-ball teams, or other teams; these activities, while importan tin themselves in helping children to develop skills, can als obe quite damaging and harmful to children, particularly interms of physical injuries ;---but in a psychological sensethese can also be preparing these young people for furthercompetition, such as military training.

This Awareness indicates that also training youngwomen to express themselves verbally and intellectuall ycan be of great importance in helping these entities no tto feel as though they are second-rate citizens . This Awaremu indicates that the activities whereby men and wom-en, boys and girls, are treated fairly in school ; this is imp-ortant--where there is no sexism played in the schoolsby the instructors or teachers .

This Awareness indicates also that another area i nwhich many public schools are in great neglect, is that o frotecting the children from bullies,--both psychological

ese schools arevery much like a small prison, or prison for children, i nthat there are gangs set up and allowed to exist aroundvarious bully-types, who pick on the weak and unprotected ,who extort from these, or who ridicule and who psycho -logically damage the self-image of various individuals, s othat these children come out of these schools either withover-inflated egos and a feeling of great power, or damagedas individuals, fearing their peer group, fearing society, o rfeeling a need to follow some powerful bully . This Aware-ness indicates that these kind of operations in school sshould be stopped at any cost, even if it requires expellin gthose students who form such clubs, gangs, or bullyin gactions .

This Awareness indicates also, another area which need sattention in regard to schools, is that of fluorescent lights .[This Awareness indicates that this in terms of all form sof fluorescent-light office buildings] . This Awareness ind-icates that particularly children are susceptible to the neg-ative influence of fluorescent lights, in that it creates, (an dthis has been shown to he true)--nervous tension, headaches ,vision problems of serious nature, whereby entire generation srequire glasses because of the fluorescent lighting ; muchgreater than in previous generations ; and also tooth decay .This Awareness indicates that the vibrations from thes efluorescent lights create an irritation within an individual ,so that entities working under these become more irritabl eand touchy in their relationships . This Awareness indicate sthere are full-spectrum daylight lights which can be use dto replace these fluorescent lights . This Awareness indicate sthese are much better, although not absolutely perfect .These also do have some negative effect, but the genera ltendency or general quality of these as that which is con-siderable less damaging.

WHAT INFLUENCE WILL COMPUTER S

HAVE IN THE CLASSROOMS ?

QUESTION :

One question relative to the educating of child-ren: with the quantum leaps in technology bein gmade today in computers and the silicon chips ,there are increasing stories in the magazines thatit is just a short time before low-priced comput-ers, very small, will be installed in the schoo lsystems, and probably be on all the desks ; and

I wondered if Awareness could comment briefly on the implications of this, particularly i nrelation to the fact that these stories say the children won't necessarily even have to lear nhow to write anymore because they can talk to the computers, and as long as they learn ho wto work these processors, some of the old education methods won't even be necessary ,

COSMIC AWARENESS :

This Awareness indicates that this as in the affirmative . This Awareness indicates thatrather than needing to learn the mathematical systems or writing systems and techniques ,many children will learn to use computers for composing works of literature or of mathem-atical formulas, without fully understanding how to add, subtract, do square root or othe rthings, except through the computer . This Awareness indicates that there will always be som ewho will become interested in the old basic technical information, and techniques which ar eprogrammed into the computer, and the future generations may wonder what occurs in com-puters, and how they can know so much, And such entities, if becoming serious enough, ma yin time, go back into these ancient sciences and learn how to add, subtract, divide, multiply ,etc .

This Awareness indicates that this in itself may become a branch of the new educationa lsystem; whereby entities, after reaching a certain age, may wish to understand how thes enumbers, letters, and writing techniques evolved ; and when entities study this branch, theymay become programmers for such machines as are used by the society in general .
