Production area: vineyards are in the communes of Peschiera del Garda, Desenzano and Sirmione, along the southern shore of Lake Garda, on the border between Veneto and Lombardy. This area is notable for the pres-ence of clayey soils.Grape varietals: 100% Trebbiano di Lugana.Vinification: cold maceration of the grapes, soft pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation at 18°-20°. This is aimed at highlighting the fruit-ness and mineral hints that are typical of the grape variety and of the zone of origin.Maturation: in stainless steel, followed by maturation in bottle.

CharaCteristiCs

Colour: straw yellow with green highlights.Nose: hints of flowers and newly-mown hay, pears and chlorophyll.Flavour: tangy and refreshing, with a mix of floral and fruity sensations as well as elegant mineral hints.Alcohol: 12% vol.Serving suggestions: it is perfect with salt-water fish or fish from the Lake, both in less complex dishes or in more elaborate recipes. It also goes very well with cold-cuts. It is excellent with sushi and with oriental dishes.Serve at: 10°- 12° C

Production area: vineyards are in the communes Soave, Monteforte d’Alpone, Lavagno, Colognola ai Colli, Illasi e Roncà.Grape varietals: Garganega 70%, Trebbiano di Soave 30%Vinification: cold maceration of the grapes, soft pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation at 18°- 20°.Maturation: in stainless steel, followed by maturation in bottle.

CharaCteristiCs

Colour: bright straw yellow.Nose: elegant floral notes of elderflowers and acacia blossom, combined with hints of crisp, crunchy apples.Flavour: a dry wine, but with appealing, well-balanced fruit on the pal-ate, where one finds echoed the floral and fruity sensations noted in its perfumes.Alcohol: 12% vol.Serving suggestions: ideal for accompanying light summer dishes (prosciut-to with melon, cold dishes) and fish dishes in general. Serve at: 10°- 12° C

Production area: vineyards are in the communes of Castelnuovo del Garda, Caprino, Rivoli, Affi, Sommacampagna, Bussolengo, Peschiera del Garda and Valeggio.Grape varietals: Corvina 50%, Rondinella 30%, Molinara 20%Vinification: traditionally, Chiaretto is obtained by cold maceration of the must on the skins for a single night. The skins contains the grapes’ natural colouring matter, which is thus yielded into the wine to just a limited de-gree. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures of between 18° and 20° .Maturation: the wine is bottled whilst still young, and should preferably be drunk whithin a year of the vintage.

Colour: a bright cherry-red.Nose: delicate scents of berry fruits (raspberries and redcurrants) and wild flowers.Flavour: on the palate, it has juicy, red berry-like sensations, combined with a youthful freshness.Alcohol: 12% vol.Serving suggestions: An extremely versatile wine, it goes very well with typ-ical summer foods: fish hors d’oeuvres, cold cuts, pasta dishes in general, tortellini, risottos, soups, all types of fish and white meat. It is excellent with pizza or paella.Serve at: 9°-11° C

Production area: vineyards are situated in the communes of Fumane, Ne-grar and Marano, three of the five historic communes of the Valpolicella Classico area, the heart of the production zone of Valpolicella.Grape varietals: Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara, Rossignola and Negrara 10%.Vinification: the grapes are pressed, after 120 days of traditional drying in special rooms (fruttai), causing the sugar in the grapes to become more concentrated. The must ferments slowly for 18-20 days in contact with the skins at controlled temperature of 22°-24°.Maturation: it matures in traditional Slavonian oak casks for 24 months.

CharaCteristiCs

Colour: ruby red with garnet reflection.Nose: fragrance that reminds of red fruits, cherry jam, fruit of the brush-wood, together with spicy notes.Flavour: in the mounth it is warming and velvety, with a very persistent aftertaste.Alcohol: 15% vol.Serving suggestions: ideal with red meats, game and hard, mature cheeses. Alternatively, it is splendid drunk just on its own, as a wine for accompa-nying conversation with friends.Serve at: 18°-20° CNote: a majestic wine with great structure and is extremely long-lived.

Valpolicella Classico SuperioreDenominazione di Origine Controllata

Production area: vineyards are situated in the five historic communes of the Valpolicella Classico area (Fumane, Marano di Valpolicella, Negrar, San Pietro Incariano and Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella).Grape varietals: Corvina 65%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara, Rossignola and Negrara 10%Vinification: fermentation is carried out at controlled temperature of 25° for 12 days. The skins and pips are kept immersed in the must (this is the so-called “submerged cap” technique). During the following spring, the operation known as “ripasso” is performed: the wine is fermented once again, this time on the skins of the dried grapes used for the production of the Amarone. In this way, the wine gets more structure and complexity.Maturation: it matures in Salvonian oak barrels, prior to a final refinement in the bottle.

CHARACTERISTICS

Colour: bright ruby red.Nose: intense fruity notes of cherries and dewberries, together with hints of spices.Flavour: dry, with notable structure. It has a rich taste of red fruits, together with light traces of spices.Alcohol: 13,5% vol.Serving suggestions: this is a versatile wine, which can be drunk through-out a meal if it is meat-based. It can also accompany moderately mature cheeses.Serve at: 16°-18° C

Colour: bright ruby red.Nose: delicately fruity and fragrant, with notes of cherries and raspberries, along with refreshing herbaceous tones and suggestions of violets.Flavour: dry, with good fresh acidity, well balanced tannins and fruitness.Alcohol: 12% vol.Serving suggestions: An extremely versatile wine. It is excellent with mixed grills, barbecued chicken and with roasts.Serve at: 14° – 16° C

It has balance, freshness and a very easy-drinking style.Alcohol: 12% vol.Serving suggestions: an extremely versatile wine, it goes very well with typi-cal summer foods: fish hors d’oeuvres, cold cuts, pasta dishes in general, tortellini, risottos, soups, all types of fish and white meat.
