Modifying other brands of door templates to t Woodhaven’s 5434 Frame & Panel Master  We cannot quarantee that th is wil l work on all brands of templates. You wil l need to drill mounting holes whe re shown on your panel templates. The drill ing dimension of 3” shown for the rail templetes may vary depending on your templates, the desired ove rall part w idth and your straight rail width. For example , our temp lates below have a 1-3/4” rise and an overall rail part width of 4”, leaving the rail 2-1/4” wide at the narrowest point. If your templates have a 1- 1/2” rise and you dri lled your rail templates using the 3” dimension, you’d end up with a rail that measures 2-1/2” wide at the narrowest point. If 2-1/2” is wider than desired, the easiest solution would be to rip the rail narr ower after machi ning the contour. Another solution wo uld be to change the 3” dimension to somethi ng less. T o get a rail that’s 2-1 /4” wide at the narrowest point with 1-1/2” rise templates, you w ould need to change the 3” dimension to 2-3/4”. Then you would need to be sure that there was not more than 1” of template overhang on the back to be able to use your template on our 5434 Frame & Panel Master. 6-7” Parts 7.625” 1.25” 3” 5-6” Parts 6.625” 1.25” 7-8” Parts 8.625” 10-11” Parts 11.625” 1.25” 8-9” Parts 9.75” 9-10” Parts 10.625” 11-12” Parts 12.625” 1.25” 1.25” 16-18” Parts 17.625” 3” 12-14” Parts 13.625” 1.25” 14-16” Parts 15.625” 0.5”
