3. A purchase invoice will be filled out for each horse pur-chased by a buyer. Name and address is to be filled out exactly how the purchaser wants a horse registered. We will not be responsible for errors on transfer if purchase invoice is not properly and clearly filled out.

Right of recourse must be directly to the owner and not through South Dakota Horse Sale, own-ers, auctioneers or managers. We act only as agents for con-signors in the sale. 5. Be sure to inspect any horse of interest to your satisfac-tion BEFORE you buy. A veterinarian is available prior to sale time to answer any questions. When horse leaves the ring all sales are final.

6. We DO NOT charge sales tax on horse purchases in South Dakota.

7. A new halter will be provided with your horse purchase. All ride and lead in horses are haltered and tied after they are sold and leave the ring. A $2.50 fee for the halter will be assessed the buyer with seller paying an additional $2.50.

8. Phone or mail in bids are welcome. Buyers need to make arrangements by the Friday before the sale for credit refer-ences.

9. Writing an insufficient funds check the size of a horse purchase is a FELONY. Any person writing an insufficient funds check for a horse purchase will be turned over to the States Attorney for prosecution. Immediate legal action will be taken.

10. Longtime, regular monthly buyers, easily recognized by our staff, may apply for a permanent V.I.P. buyer number.

11. We DO NOT allow private horse trading in the yards, alleys or on the premises before, during or after the sale. Any offender to this policy will be banned from the premises. All persons selling no-saled horses on the premises after they leave the ring must pay full commission in the office.

12. For convenience in the quick location of a certain horse, horses will be penned in numerical order through-out the yard beginning with Lot 1 nearest the check-in gate.

Archie is a very well bred 14.3 hand gelding. He rides quiet. He has been shown in reigning classes, trail classes, and our daughter won Egg and Spoon on him. JUNE 2021 HORSE REPORT - It was a huge success with big demand for all classes of horses. Buyers registered in from Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa as well as from all across South Dakota. All horses sold with ZERO anount of "No Sales". The top 10 horses sold averaged $5,250. The 14 head of Spelbring Quarter Horses yearlings averaged $2,375 with their top one, a blue roan stallion selling for $4,200. The Loose horse auction was big success as well with the top one selling for $4200. The top horse in the Open Consignment sale sold for $3900.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LIBBY KNOBBE, NEBRASKA! She sold Lot 4, the Top Sale Horse, Streakin firegrighter, for $8,750! This good looking 11-yr old mare was bred in the purple and used in 4-H as well as around cattle and goat tying. She sold to W. Driscoll, SD.
