It is hard to believe we are now in Week 9 of Term 4. As the end
of the year draws nearer, it is important parents/carers keep a
look out for informa on sent out by the school. There are a
number of events organised for the coming weeks and it would
be disappoin ng for any student/s to miss out.
Mr Turner has needed to take some medical leave for these last
couple of weeks. In his absence, Mrs Kokalevski will be working
with 4‐6Silver and Mrs Brown. We wish Mr Turner all the very
best for his upcoming opera on and look forward to his return
to CEPS next year.
Students will be receiving their Semester 2 reports this Friday.
Please remember that if your child receives a ‘sound’
achievement this means they have achieved the desired
outcomes for the stage of learning at an adequate level. For a
student to receive a High or Outstanding, they need to be able to
apply new knowledge in many different contexts and through a
range of means. Teachers are available to discuss your child’s
report, please remember to contact the office and arrange a me
to meet so that teachers can have all relevant informa on (such
as assessment tasks etc) at the mee ng. Thanks in advance!
I look forward to seeing many of you at the P&C Twilight Family
Fun Night. It is sure to be a great evening as we come together to
celebrate the great year we have had and the fes ve season.

Dogs at School
We have some students at school that are frightened of dogs. Sec on 14 of the Companion Animals Act (1998) prohibits dogs on school grounds except where the principal gives permission. We allow dogs to come into school for special events, such as news etc only if the classroom teacher has been informed in advance so that he/she can talk with students and concerned parents about the visit. Dogs visi ng for approved visits must be kept on a leash in school grounds. Thank you in an cipa on.
Stage 3 Camp
From our Library Overdue library books Thank you to all those families that have helped students to find and return their library books. Unfortunately, there are about 70 books s ll outstanding which, at an average cost of between $15‐$20 per book, means there are many dollars worth of books missing. We would love to have all those books returned TOMORROW, as a stocktake of all the library's books has now started. If they are not returned, we do ask for a $10 dona on to go towards the cost of replacing those books. Thank you for your support in this.

At our stage 3 camp at Mor iset we had an enter aining
time. Camp was f ll of action and kept us on our toes for
the whole jour ey. My favourite activit was Mud
World. It involved crawling through wet, slimy and
g easy mud. All in all I wish we could relive this three
day event with all the wonderf l activities.

I loved camp because it was something different to
Canber a or other educational places. I also loved it
because it gave you an oppor nit to conquer your fears
‐one of them being heights. There were activities that
involved heights which included the Challenge Ropes,
The Super Drop, The Giant Swing, The Multi‐climb and
the Dual Flying Fox. I did each and ever one of them.
Camp was so awesome!
