Quería escribirles para agradecerles su apoyo y ac vidad en la parroquia de Corpus Chris . A través de los años, ha sido el apoyo de familias ac vas como la suya la que ha sostenido a nuestra parroquia y nos ha ayudado a crecer.
Durante las próximas semanas, intentaremos una nueva inicia va para alentar a los miem‐bros menos ac vos de nuestra parroquia a ser más ac vos en Corpus Chris . En aproximad‐amente una semana, enviaré una carta a todos los feligreses registrados para invitarlos a asis r a misa a las 8:45 a.m. en inglés el domingo 10 de diciembre o a la misa a las 11:00 am en español el 10 de diciembre. Es mi esperanza que si podemos alentar a los católicos menos ac vos a volver a la misa, entonces podrían comenzar a ser feligreses regulares en nuestra parroquia.
Mi propósito al escribirles hoy es simplemente para que conozcan nuestros planes para la Misa el 10 de diciembre. Espero que esté más lleno de lo habitual. Si conoce algún feligrés que no haya asis do a la iglesia, quizás pueda alentarlos a asis r a la Misa a las 8:45 a.m. en inglés o a la Misa a las 11:00 a.m. en español el 10 de diciembre.

Dear Parishioner,
I wanted to write to you to thank you for your support and ac vity at Corpus Chris Par‐ish. Over the years, it has been the support of ac ve families like yours that has sustained our parish and helped us to grow.
Over the next few weeks, we will be a emp ng a new ini a ve to encourage less‐ac ve members of our parish to become more ac ve at Corpus Chris . In about a week, I will send out a le er to all registered parishioners to invite them to a end Mass at 8:45 am in English on Sunday, December 10 or the 11:00 am Mass in Spanish on December 10. It is my hope that if we can encourage less‐ac ve Catholics to return to Mass, then they might start to become regular churchgoers at our parish.
My purpose in wri ng to you today is simply to make you aware of our plans for the Mass on December 10. I hope that it will be more crowded than usual. If you know any parish‐ioners who have not been a ending church, perhaps you can encourage them to a end either the 8:45 am Mass in English or the 11:00 am Mass in Spanish on December 10th.

9:00 AM There is no better way to begin our national day of
Thanksgiving than to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In the Mass we give thanks to God for all of the blessings He has bestowed upon us. Our ex-pression of gratitude takes on a special meaning on Thanksgiving Day. We ask everyone who can to bring a bag of non-perishable food to be brought to the altar during the offertory of the Mass. The food will be distributed by our food pantry.
There will not be an 8:00am Mass on Thanksgiving Day
