We try to provide an atmosphere of quiet reflection in the Chapel. We in-vite everyone to pray silently before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament

when you come for a visit. We thank all Guardians of the Eucharist for their love, fidelity, and commitment to Jesus in the Eucharist. We encourage you to get to know the guardians before and after you. Please try to be on time for your hour. The person before you may have another commitment and is counting on you to be on time.

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS Lord of the Harvest, we petition you as you have in-structed us to ask for more laborers to serve in the vineyard of your Church. You have told us that the harvest is rich and laborers are few and we experi-

ence this great need in the face of the challenge of the New Evangelization.

We ask the Holy Spirit to inspire young men and women to seriously consider vocations to the priest-hood and religious life. Help all of us to be effective instruments to encourage and support those whom

you are calling to serve and lead the Church of Brooklyn and Queens in the future.

Lord, you told the Apostles to put out into the deep. We ask for the grace and courage to respond to your call as we pray and work for an increase in vocations

to the priesthood and religious life. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Great

High Priest, Amen.

TREE OF LIFE

In the vestibule of the church we have placed an-other Tree of Life memorial for anyone who would like to remember one of their loved ones with a memorial plaque. The suggested donation for a leaf on the tree is $250.00. Please call the rectory if you would like to place a name on the tree.

Our Youth Ministry meets on Thursday eve-nings from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM in the church. All of the young people of the parish are en-couraged to attend.

Our new YOUTH Minister, Josh Rosa has begin his service to the parish and we pray that our teenagers will participate in the exciting program he has scheduled.

FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI SUNDAY, June 3, 2018

We will celebrate our parish Feast Day with a special celebration of the Eucharist at 12:00 noon on Sunday, June 3. The 11:00 AM Spanish Mass and the 12:30 PM English Mass will be combined into a bi-lingual liturgy at 12:00 noon in the school gymnasium. Bishop Octavio Cisneros will be the main celebrant at the

Mass.

After Mass there will be a procession with the Eucharist around the block stopping at 3 altars for Benedic-tion prayers.

After the procession, there will be a celebration in the parking lot for all who attend. We are asking every-one to contribute to the celebration by bringing food and cakes. We are planning on just finger food, noth-ing that requires a fork to eat. There will be a sign up sheet in the back of the church if you would like to write what you plan to bring.

Please remember that there will not be an 11:00 AM or 12:30 PM Mass on June 3 and please plan to partici-pate in this special Mass and procession as we honor the Lord in the Eucharist.

FIESTA DE CORPUS CRISTI Domingo, 3 de junio 2018

Celebraremos nuestra Fiesta Parroquial con una Solemne Eucaristía (Santa Misa), a las 12:00 del mediodía, del domingo 3 de junio. Por esta razón , las Misas de las 11 a.m. (en español) y la de las 12:30 (en inglés) se unirán en una única celebración bilingüe a las 12:00 pm, esto será en el gimnasio de la escuela. El Obispo Octavio Cisneros será quien presidirá nuestra Eucaristía.

Después de la Misa se realizará la procesión con la Eucaristía alrededor de la cuadra, con 3 estaciones o altares para las oraciones de bendición.

Después de la procesión habrá un COMPARTIR FRATERNO en el estacionamiento de la escuela para todos los que asistan. Estamos pidiendo a todos que contribuyan a la celebración trayendo comida y pas-teles. Por favor traigan aperitivos que no requiere usar tenedor para comer. Habrá una hoja, en la entrada de la Iglesia, para anotar su donación en aperitivo.

Por favor recuerde que no habrá Misa de 11 AM o 12:30 PM el 3 de junio de mayo y por favor, planee participar en esta Misa bilingüe y la procesión con la Eucaristía.
