Benefits of Corporate Team Building?

The benefits of strong teamwork within any company, are so obvious and profound, that there are literally millions of books on the subject.

That’s good and well when times are good and the boss decides to give the team a ‘smiler’ by splashing some cash.

What about when times are hard? When the focus must be on the bottom line, driving sales, reducing overheads, increasing efficiency?

Is there ever a more important time to get your team pulling with you? Is it ever more important that every member of your organisation is focussed on the common purpose and giving of their best?

An Ice Factor Corporate Weekend is not just about everyone having fun and experiencing a thrill. It is about giving your team an insight into just what can be achieved, how to overcome fear and embrace change, how to be part of the collective ‘think tank’ for your company.

Specifically:• Improve Morale and Leadership Skills

• Break the barriers that thwart creativity• Clearly define objectives and goals• Improve processes and procedure• Improve organisational productivity• Identify team strength’s and weakness

• Tap into the hidden potential in every company.

T.E.A.M - Together - Everyone -

Achieves - More

”Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”- Michael Jordan

”Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”- Mark Twain

What’s Involved:

As part of your course, all participants will be asked to complete a brief psychometric evaluation. These should be returned at least 5 days before the course commences.

The team leaders will be asked to complete specific questionnaires on outcomes for the weekend to allow us to tailor your course to your needs.

Friday -

Arrive late afternoon / early evening. After being shown to your accommodation the first part of the weekend will commence with a BBQ and Drinks. During the mixer, we will provide a briefing on the weekend’s programme and start with the first team building game. Teams will be split in segments based on the results of the psychometric evaluations.

Saturday-

After breakfast the team segments will each be allocated a team building task. These tasks will be linked to the objectives previously identified by the company. Each activity will link to a core objective:

Trust and Confidence Building - Rock Climbing & Abseiling SessionBlindfolds and complete reliance on other members of the cohort

Communicating with Difficult Customers- The team must adopt a different communication strategy for dealing with their most challenging clients - you will become the instructor as you teach your colleagues to climb the world’s biggest indoor ice wall.

Together We’re Stronger. The entire team will work its way round the challenging aerial adventure course. This requires mutual support and encouragement.

The Leap of Faith. There is always a moment in business where you act on information received. The objective of this exercise is to prove the value and the win available from making informed decisions.

Evening. After Sauna and Steam, the team will gather for drinks and debrief from the instructor team. Evening meal and party games.

Sunday -

After a leisurely breakfast, the team will be gathered as a single entity. The shared objectives will be discussed in detail. The team will be asked to apply those learnings and to develop the Plan of Attack for the company.

Each member will be asked to identify the core element they will tackle, challenge and apply their new skills to. These will be overlaid with the company business plan to ensure direct correlation between the weekend’s activities and the core needs of the company.

cannot continuously improve interdependent systems and

processes until you progressively perfect interdependent, interpersonal

relationships. Stephen Covey

If you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that.

Word of mouth is very powerful.Jeff Bezos - Customers - Marketing.

Do more than is required. What is the distance between someone who

achieves their goals consistently and those who spend their lives and

careers merely following? The extra mile.
