UNITED WAY of Greater Augusta HISTORY For 75 years, our community has been Caring for Generations through the establishment of the Community Chest (now known as the United Way of Greater Augusta).

In 1941 in Waynesboro/East Augusta and 1942 in Staunton/West Augusta, the goal was simple – build an

organization to collect funds for local charities, coordinate relief services, provide counsel, and refer clients to

cooperating agencies. 75 years later, UWGA has generated over $40 million in charitable gifts and reinvested

them in programs that benefit our friends and neighbors, impacting nearly 20,000 lives annually

LEADERSHIP CIRCLE EVENT November 9, 2016 (MAX 2)

Leadership level donors contribute between $500- $9,999 each year. The Leadership Circle Event is designed to recognize and thank Leadership donors. This opportunity is to underwrite the wine, beer cheese, chocolate, and music for event your logo will be on invitations and signage at event.

WEEK OF CARING April 9-15, 2017 (MAX 6)

TOTAL COST: $300 each

United Way of Greater Augusta’s Week of Caring is an annual, seven-day event focused on connecting volunteers with community projects. Day of Caring provides individuals and companies with the opportunity to make a difference in region and helps them understand the impact of volunteerism. This opportunity is for a logo graphic on 300 t-shirts for volunteers.

ANNUAL AWARDS CELEBRATION MAY 31, 2017 (MAX 2)

TOTAL COST: $1,500

Annual event to honor those who GIVE, ADVOCATE, and VOLUNTEER. This opportunity is to underwrite the food, music and space for event your logo will be on invitations and signage at event.
