EIG have an in-house team of petroleum industry professionals who specialise in the design, manufacture, supply, installation, project management and compliance requirements. We are industry leaders in providing ongoing support and maintenance of fuel and lubricant storage facilities and dispensing systems, from single tanks, to large bulk tank farms.

From the start of a project, we investigate the right solution and implement a strategy based on the requirements of our client. This ensures our projects progress smoothly to meet our client’s expectations.

LUBE FACILITIES

EIG are established industry experts in delivering bulk lube storage facility projects in Australia. We have provided services to major oil/mining companies, defence and independents to upgrade or redevelop bulk lube depots and terminals. Our services include design, fabrication, installation and commissioning the bulk lube tank farm.

Electrical and Mechanical services conducted on bulk lube facilities have included:

— Legislative approvals — Detailed design — Construction and commissioning management — Pumps and tanks for product blending — Tank construction for bulk lube storage tanks — Dock line installation and modifications

We also provide complete all-inclusive design of bulk lube farms, including concept design, hydraulic calculations, pipework design, automated tank gauging, dispensing systems etc.

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE — VARIOUS SITE LOCATIONS ACROSS WA

Throughout our operation, EIG has aided in Australian Defence Force projects throughout numerous West Australian locations. Such locations include; Lancelin, Bindoon, Garden Island, Karrakatta, Swanbourne, Fremantle, Bullsbrook, Learmonth, Exmouth and many more.

Partaking in such projects has enabled EIG to broaden and strengthen our electrical and mechanical reach. The major works conducted on the Australian Defence Force sites include the supply and installation of fuel systems, lighting and power installations, installations of lighting protection systems and fire systems just to highlight a few.

SILVERGRASS 1ML FUEL FARM — SILVERGRASS EAST MINE SITE, MOUNT SHEILA, WA

The US$338 million dollar Silvergrass iron ore mine is one of many world-class iron ore operations that will produce high quality, low-phosphorus Marra Mamba ore that is treated at the Greater Nammuldi processing plant and blended into Rio Tinto’s premium Pilbara Blend product. The production of the new iron ore mine will add 100 million tonnes of annual production capacity.

Located in Mount Sheila, WA, EIG were appointed to design and manufacture the Silvergrass million-litre fuel farm. The fuel farm consisted of 5 x 200kL tanks, including an unloading pump skid and dispensing skid. Three unloading bays to suit a B- triple tanker, with the capacity to unload 2700lpm. And, a heavy vehicle refuelling and light vehicle refuelling stations, with the heavy vehicle station having the capacity to dispense 900lpm.

The system is fully controlled using HMI, PLC/SCADA, utilising state of the art programmable flow and pressure switches.
