management of the Company

was controlled by A. Volker as

the holder of Contract for

Exploration and Exploitation

of Asphalt Mining in Buton

Island.

Ownership and management

of the Company was

controlled by a Dutch

company, called N.V. Mijnbow

(MMB).

The Company is operated by

the Ministry for Public Works,

Roads and Bridges Office

A State Asphalt Company was

established, in which the

Buton Asphalt unit of the

Directorate for Roads and

Bridges was merged and

became a State Asphalt

Company.

The State Asphalt Company is

changed to a Limited

Company (Persero) by

establishing PT Sarana Karya

(Persero) on September 1,

1984.

PT Sarana Karya officially

became a Subsidiary of PT

Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk.

Company name was changed

from PT Sarana Karya to PT

Wijaya Karya Bitumen, or PT

WIKA Bitumen.

PT WIKA Bitumen established

Business RunningDuring 2013 (after acquisition) until now, Export for Buton Granular Asphalt (BGA) and also Buton Rock Asphalt (BRA) to Eastern Asia.

BGA & BRA still be sold in locally.

In early 2018, start build the Mini Extraction Plant (MEP)which is produced Liquid Asphalt, and it finished in last 2019.

And Have been implemented On National Road In North Coast Of Java and South Sulawesi, Makassar

With our strategic partner SKEC (South Korea), together optimized the MEP in order to enhanced Reliability Factor to 90%.

Start 2018, we run the Pavement Toll Road Project, the on going project are Balsam Project (Balikpapan), Serpan Project (Banten), and Pettarani Project (Makassar).

In the Future, we plan to create and develop our new business that is described in Roadmap
