    A Corporate Law Cell Initiative.

    The Corporate Law Review is a Corporate Law Cell Initiative.

    The Corporate Law Review endeavours to encourage and promote in - depth knowledge of

    corporate law among students. Keeping in mind the rapid paced growth of corporate law as a

    profession in its own right, fuelled by fast paced economic progress contributed by privateinitiative, has led to enactment of myriad of laws that governs the corporate law.

    I. EligibilityThe Corporate Law Review is only open to students of ILS LAW COLLEGE, PUNE.

    (i) All students from I BSL to V BSL are eligible.(ii)All students from I LLB to III LLB are eligible.(iii)All LLM students of ILS Law College are eligible.II. Medium of Law Review

    The medium of Corporate Law Review is ENGLISH.

    III.Submission ProcedureThe following are the submission procedure: -

    (i) The submissions may be in the form of case comments, articles and research papers.(ii)The submissions must be typewritten and double spaced on A4 sized white paper with

    consecutively numbered pages.

    (iii)The word limit for submissions are capped as follows(a) Case CommentsMax. 2000 Words(b) ArticlesMax. 3000 Words(c) Research PapersMax. 5000 Words

    (iv)The submissions must be accompanied with an abstract containing title, name and contactdetails of the author, and a brief synopsis of the submission which must NOT EXCEED

    500 WORDS.

    (v) Mode of CitationHarvard Blue Book of Citation, 19 th Edition

    (vi)Any submissions which do not comply with submission procedure shall not be considered forpublication.

    IV.DeadlineAll submissions must reach the law review team of corporate law cell by 10

    THDECEMBER, 2010.

    SUBMISSIONS BEYOND THIS DATE SHALL NOT BE ENTERTAINED .

    V. AuthorshipAll Submissions must be original, unpublished and undistributed materials. The law review team

    recommends the authors of submissions to structure their submissions with a clear introduction and

    conclusion summarizing the main points and a direction for further exploration. The authors of the

    submissions are discouraged from using extensive footnoting and end noting but please include it

    wherever it is vital. However, authors must give a select bibliography of the sources referred to

    in the submission. The authors are warned that any plagiarised content shall qualify their

    submission for an immediate disqualification from the selection process.

    VI.Entry Procedure.The following are the entry procedure.

    (i) Only one entry per student is allowed.(ii) Joint entries of up to Max. Two students are allowed.(iii)All submission are to be sent [email protected]. Topics

    To enable students to identify topics, the law review team, has identified certain topic areas which is

    given in ANNEXURE A

    VIII. DisclaimerThe following are publishing standards set to be followed

    (i) The authors who have sent their entries to be considered for publication in Corporate LawReview, shall during pendency of such consideration period refrain themselves fromsending their same article to other law journals and publications. If they have sent their

    same submission elsewhere, then they shall notify the law review team.

    (ii) The Law Review Team will have the final discretion as to publication of an article.
