With more than 7,300 kilometres of toll roads under its direct management, abertis is the world’s leading firm in this sector. The transaction to consolidate nine toll road concession operators in Brazil, acquired in conjunction with Brookfield Infrastructure, and another three in Chile has made the Group the leading in-ternational manager of high capacity main roads.
BRAZIL 3,250 kILOMETRESThrough arteris the Group manages 21% of the concession toll roads in Brazil in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Río de Janeiro, Santa Catarina and Paraná.
FRANCE 1,761 kILOMETRESabertis is present in France through sanef, which controls five of the seven roads leading into the Île de France and also the traffic connecting Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg to France and the United King-dom.
SPAIN 1,512 kILOMETRESabertis is the leading operator of high capacity main roads in Spain where it covers 59% of all toll roads. It manages the country’s main corridors, including the AP-7, the AP-6, the AP-68 and the AP-2.
ChILE 771 kILOMETRESFollowing the recent acquisition of three toll road concession operators, abertis has become the main toll road operator in the country where it manages a total of six concession operators.
REST OF ThE WORLD 425 kILOMETRESabertis also operates high capacity roads in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia and the United Kingdom and manages electronic toll systems in Canada and Ireland.

BroadcastingThe company is committed to high-definition television, Premium DTT services and driving products such as hybrid DTT and Ultra High Definition television.
Satellitesabertis is the majority shareholder in and operator of the satellite company Hispasat, the leader in its segment in Latin America with six satellites in service.
Toweringabertis has positioned itself as a key player in the future development of the mobile telephony sector in Spain, where it already has over 5,000 towers.
Smart Citiesabertis is contributing to technological innovation with solutions aimed at setting up smart cities with pilot schemes in cities such as Barcelona, London, Genoa and Bologna.
