Bell Equipment, founded in 1954 as a family-run engineering and machinery repair shop, has grown into a world leader in the off-highway truck and hauler business and is home to some of South Africa’s proudest products.

Tractor Loader Backhoes built especially tough for AfricaGeneration after generation Bell Tractor Loader Backhoes have proven themselves as versatile workhorses offering high levels of performance, durability and operator-friendly features.

High bucket breakout forces, powerful hydraulics and a reliable power plant with deep lugging ability give the Bell TLB the edge across just about every jobsite and possible application.

The new L-series has a five-speed transmission and delivers a top speed of 40 km/h when travelling to the jobsite. Africa tough Haulage Tractors - a Bell original to this dayOver 30 years of experience designing and manufacturing purpose-built Haulage Tractors has enabled us to evolve this product to deliver the best features to our customers. The latest models continue to feature heavy duty construction, with a full-length steel chassis and modular build for hauling components.

Our Haulage Tractors are built from the ground up to match the extreme hauls they are expected to deal with. The fact that most of them are still at work, some with in excess of a hundred thousand hours on the clock, means we probably over-designed them; tough for us, bonus for the owners. Evolutionary design iterations mean the tractor improves as time moves on. The Series IV offers a greater power range and improved consumption.
