Weaver FishWeaver FishWeaver fish are well known for lurking in the Cornwall sea’s due

to the temperatures rising in the Cornwall sea’s. The sting can be cured by putting the foot into boiling water as hot as the victim can stand. Here is a photo:

The foot should be put in the water for at the least 15 minutes. In the water the sting disolves and should stop hurting after about one hour if not only less it will take longer if swelling has occurred.

Painkillers can help but really there is no need to worry about getting stung, there is about 30 in 100 chance that you will get stung but I must say after I got stung I bought some wetsuit shoes with the rest of my pocket money but I must say it was money well spent!!! Click here to go back!

Also weaver fish are not easy to spot they are the colour of sand and disguise their selves in the sand.

Basking SharksBasking SharksBasking sharks have been spotted off the coast of Cornwall,

the fish eating sharks are often seen at the height of summer, now there is no need to be scared of them, they are completely harmless. Their diet is fish particularly plankton. Although they are harmless it would make you swim much, much faster if you were in the water with them.

Great white shark in Great white shark in Cornwall?Cornwall?

The very day that I arrived in Cornwall a story was sent out by the sun about a great white shark being spotted in Cornwall (this was when I had just got over watching ‘JAWS’.)

I got a bit worried because they said that they has proof on their website (a video) and loads of pictures but I wanted to find and the truth and quick so I waited for a week for more stories about the shark to come out and they did about 3 of them but then on the 7th day the guardian newspaper sent out the it was fake the picture was taken in south Africa and the video was just a harmless basking shark.
