A Brief History

Corioliss was established in 2002 by a small group of free thinking individuals whose sole aim was to create cutting edge styling products.

Our range embodies the creative spirit of professional hair stylists and satisfies the technically demanding natureof day to day salon work.

We forged close relationships with some of the worlds best manufacturers that enabled us to realize our vision for fashion led, truly unique professional quality products.

The release of the C2 took the European market by storm with its on trend animal prints, slim-line design, digital temperature adjustment and ultra smooth titanium plates.

We have continued to make waves in the industry with the release of our Mini Vintage Travel Dryer, Grand Prix Clippers, SXE Dynamic and Apollo dryer.

We are passionate about challenging conventions, utilizing the most advanced technology available and creating products that our customers are proud to use.

We measured the average temperature of the hair cuticle after one pass with both our titanium iron and a ceramic iron from a the best market leading brand. Here’s what we found out:

The Corioliss iron had up to +34°C more hair contact heat than a leading ceramic iron after a 5 second pass. The heat transfer from our iron is more efficient - this means your hair stays in place for longer in just one pass, with less effort, from root tip.

The surface of the plates play a very important role in ensuring that your hair is smooth, shiny and damage free. Smoother plates deliver smoother and shinier results with less friction.

We measured the condition of our Titanium Plates versus the ceramic plates of a market leading brand. Both had been used in salon for one month. We found that the ceramic plates deteriorated over time while the Titanium Plates remained smooth and shiny.

The Corioliss irons proves to have 10x less friction on the hair cuticle than ceramic coated plates. This testifies to the fact that titanium plates deliver superior results.

Corioliss Titanium irons utilise advanced Titanium Plates which retain more heat. Unlike other brands our irons actualy reach 210°C, not just 180°C. This is beacuase we use a unique heating element which emits more heat than leading brand irons. This makes styling faster and easier.

Corioliss Temperature control measure the plate heat in microsceonds meaning you get a 43% better average hair temp in just one pass.

This alllows faster styling with fewer strokes- almost twice as fast!

Titanium Technology - microscopically smoother than ceramic technology and therefore result in far less damage to the cuticle. Excellent conductive properties mean they distribute heat evenly over the entire length of the plates with no hot spots.This results in effortless styling with great looking results that last longer (Further research available).

Negative Ion Technology eliminates static and frizz by neutralising positive (static) ions which can accumulate whenbrushing or styling. The result is soft, smooth and shiny hair that stays in place.

Far Infrared Heat gently heats each hair from within without drying the hair. This process protects the cuticle resulting in faster styling and moisture rich, healthy looking results.

Pro Variable temperature control gives the stylist flexibility to select the most appropriate heat setting for the type ofhair being styled. Lower temperatures ensure delicate finer hair types will not become damaged while higher settings are ideal for thicker hair.

Heat Expansion Technology. As the titanium plates reach optimum temperature they expand to ensure perfect plate alignment for increased control and efficient heat transfer.

Auto Sleep Mode. If the iron has been left on and unattended for over 30mins a microprocessor intelligently cutsthe power supply conserving energy and increasing safety.

Ceramic Technology transfers heat effectively across the length of the plate. They also emit negative ions, helping to close the cuticle layers of hair locking in moisture.

Tourmaline Gems are a natural source of negative ions. The gems are crushed and infused into the plates toincrease the anti-static and moisture retaining properties of the heat styler.

235°C Temperature. Reaching a high temperature is important for styling thicker and curlier hair types. Featured on our PX1 iron

Dual Voltage. Combined with our easily removable euro shuko plug which means your iron will work in more places across the world. Perfect for Jet-setters.

The 360° Swivel Cord has been designed to allow for all the advanced techniques the modern stylist employswithout allowing the cord to become tangled or damaged, extending the working life of the iron.

210°C is the the optimum styling temperature for all but the thickest and curliest hair types. All Corioliss stylingtools reach this temperature whether automatically or by adjustibility.

Floating Plate Technology. The plates are suspended on a flexible membrane which allows active movement of the plates along the central axis. This results in plates that meet perfectly each time, every time.

Technology / Euro Shuko Adapter

Our dual voltage of our appliances are fitted with a Euro shulo plug as standard. This means they can be used in the UK asnd also mainlandEurope. If the appliance is to be used in mainland europe the adaptermust be removed.

To remove the adapter, unscrew the single screw in the base of theadapter and lift the top housing of the adapter plug up and awayfrom you. The two pin plug can be lifted and is now ready to use.Retain the adapter as this can be refitted as required.
