Admin: My Account

My Account displays account information for the logged-in user.

Users with User Profile privileges can update this information.

Examples of Usage:

• Change your password and contact information. The “Change Password” page is displayed when your password has expired or when you click on the Change Password button on the My Account page.

• Update the listed Email address to provide you with email notifications when setup reports have completed running (and are available for viewing in the interface).

• View your user group setting to better understand your user privileges within the interface.

My Account: Change Password

To Change a Password

1. Click Change Password.2. Enter your new password in the New Password

field.3. Enter the same password in Confirmed Password.4. Click the Save button.

* If you see this page, but do not see the Change Password button, you do not have the necessary permissions to change the password. You should contact your administrator.

Admin: Accounts

The Accounts section displays the list of users that have been added to user groups. It includes the basic information about the users and provides access to the user

account information. The default view of this page is User Accounts. This report is available to administrators only.

Examples of Usage:• View current users, user settings, and login access for all groups registered in the Coremetrics interface.• Create new users and edit current group, email, and login access (identify and/or unlock users locked out).• Assign permissions for accessing individual reports within the User Group. • Sort the listing by Group to identify all users that have been given administrative access• *Any modification to a user’s account requires the user’s password to be reset.

If a user is locked out, the column reading Login will be blank

Accounts: Unlocking User Accounts

To Unlock an Account

1. Find the user in the list.

2. Click Edit.

3. Change user access (at the bottom) to ‘Yes’.

**Any modification to a user’s account requires the user’s password to be reset.

Accounts: Manage Groups

To Create a New User Group

1. From the Accounts page, Click Manage Groups.

2. Click Create New Group.

3. Give the User Group a Name and assign the groups Permissions access desired reports or functionalities.

4. Click the Save button.

5. Assign individual users to the desired User Group.

Note: Permissions are set by group, rather than user.

Group Permissions

• Cannot Edit or Publish Views: Users assigned this condition can not customize the current interface or create and publish views for other individual users. This limitation is often used to keep the available views to a minimum.

• Edit Views (Not Publish): Editing views allows the user to customize the reports and save the view so they don’t have to make the same change every time they enter the interface.

**Edit and Publish Views: Allows user to customize the report and publish saved views to all users.

Home

• Homepage: Allows user access to the Homepage Reporting.

Dashboards

• Top Line Summary Report: Allows user access to the Top Line Summary Report.

• Top Line Sessions Report: Allows user to access the Top Line Sessions Report.

• Visitors Conversion: Allows user to view the Visitor Conversion Report.

• Sessions Conversion: Allows a user access to the Session Conversion Report.

• Activity Atlas: Allows user to view the Activity Atlas Report.

• Action Ready Reports: Allows user to view the Action Ready Reports.

• LIVEmark: Allows user to view the LIVEmark Report.

• System Report: Allows user to view the System Report.

• Browser Report: Allows a user access to the Browser Report within Technical Properties.

• Demographic Report: Allows user to view the Demographic Report within Technical Properties.

• WebSphere Commerce Reports: Allows user access to WebSphere Commerce Reports.

Marketing

• Channel Summary: Allows user access to the Channel Summary.

Marketing Zoom: Allows user to utilize zoom functionality within the Marketing Programs Report.

Marketing Programs: Allows user to access the Marketing Programs Report.

• Natural Search: Allows user access to the Natural Search Report.

– Reports – Allows user to view the results within the two tabs of the Clickstream Report.

• TruePath Analysis:

– Reports - Allows user to access the data found in the output of the TruePath Reports.

– Key Paths – Allows a user to select a TruePath as a Key Path (causing it to appear in the Topline Summary).

• Form Analysis: Allows the user permissions to view the Form Analysis Report.

• Funnel Analysis Report: Allows the user permissions to view the Funnel Analysis Report.

Profile Mining

• Segmentation Workbench Report:

– Reports - Allows user access to the reports produced by Segmentation Workbench.

– Wizard – Must be selected in order to allow a user to set-up a Segmentation Workbench.

– Email Download – Allows access to the email addresses’ pulled by segmentation workbench.

• Key Segments:

– Reports - Allows user access to the various filters that are to be placed on their standard reports.

– Wizard - Must be selected in order to allow a user to set-up a key segment.

• Advanced Campaigns:

– Wizard – Must be selected in order to allow a user to set-up campaign lines.

– New Visitors Report – Allows user access to the New Visitors Tab within the reporting output of Advanced Campaigns.

– View Reports – Allows user to see the entire list of available reports within Advanced Campaigns.

– All Visitors Report – Allows user access to the All Visitors Tab within the reporting output of Advanced Campaigns.

– Sales Reports – Allows user access to the sales information within Advanced Campaigns.

• Link Analysis:

– Wizard - Must be selected in order to allow a user to set-up link lines.

– Report – Allows user access to the 5 tabs located within the Link Analysis Report output.

• Export Builder: Allows user access to Export Builder.

Accounts: Group Permissions Cont.Custom Reports

• Custom Reports: Allows a user access to any custom reports that have been created.

Admin

• My Account Update: Allows a user to change his/her account settings.

• **User Update – Gives user the right to update all user accounts.

• **Group Update – Gives user the ability to make changes to the current group settings, create new groups, and manage group placement.

• **IP Restrictions Update – Allows user the permission to permit/restrict certain IP addresses from accessing the Coremetrics Interface.

• Email User – Permits a user to setup and send emails throughout the Coremetrics interface.

• Email Administration – Allows a user to view and edit the Email Administration Report.

• Virtual Analyst – Gives user the ability to view the virtual analyst report under the admin tab but does not limit the users’ ability to see recommendations throughout the interface.

• Vendor Channel Read Only – Permits the user to view the current Vendor Channel Settings, but doesn’t allow them to make any changes to the listings.

• **Vendor Channel Read Write – Allows a user to make changes to the Vendor Channel settings that update all user groups current channel settings (This permission should be assigned only to the main Marketing user).

• Action Ready Reports – Allows the user to schedule Action Ready Reports.

• Excel Plug-in Download Page – Allows the user to download the excel plug-in tool.

• Data Export Settings – Allows the user to set up Data Exports.

• Custom Date Ranges - Allows the user to create Custom Date Ranges

• Alias Optional Fields - Allows the user to define any extra fields that exist in the Registration tags.

Accounts: New User

To Create a New User

1. Click Create a New User.

2. Within the User Profile area, fill in the given fields: Name and Email are the only 2 required.

3. Within the User Access area, enter the desired username and password (*Case Sensitive).Recommendations:- User names should be unique to an individual user to avoid entire groups from being locked out due to a single user’s entry error.- User names often reflect the first initial of the user and complete last name)

4. Select the desired User Group that the user fits into.

5. Change the User Login Access to Yes to allow the user to login into the reports.

6. Click the Save button.

Admin: IP Restrictions

Utilize IP Restrictions to manage which IP addresses have permission to view your reports, with the option for exclusive and inclusive restrictions.

Examples of Usage:

• Manage access to the reports by excluding certain IP addresses.

• Restrict access to a single IP address or range of IP addresses.

• Please NOTE: This feature does not restrict Coremetrics data collection from your Web site.

Admin: Email Administration

Email Administration allows you to manage the list of recurring email jobs for emailed Coremetrics reports.

Examples of Usage:

• Quickly review current emails sent from the Coremetrics interface.

• Delete unneeded recurring emails (review the creation to date to delete out-dated emails).

• Amend who the report is sent to, the subject line of the email, any additional message, and the frequency of which the email is sent.

Admin: Action Ready Reports

Action Ready Reports provide a suite of visually appealing, executive level Excel reports that can be generated either as one-offs or at a specified frequency,

emailed to an email address or distribution list. The suite of reports can span a be fiscal week, fiscal month, fiscal quarter or fiscal year.

To delete reports, check

the checkboxes for these

reports and click on the

Delete Checked button.

Note: one-off Action

Admin: Virtual Analyst Recommendations

Virtual Analyst Recommendations are based on best practices for gleaning insight from Coremetrics data and how to apply key metrics to making improvements to

your site’s performance.

Examples of Usage:

• Review all Virtual Analyst Recommendations in a single screen for easy selection.

• Print helpful recommendations to review or send to applicable areas of your business.

• Aid initial analysis and/or generate ideas for analyzing your site.

Admin: Manage Vendor Channels

Manage Vendor Channels in order to display paid marketing channels separately or grouped together within the Channel Summary under the Marketing report tab.

Examples of Usage:

• Distinguish different groups of Vendors for high-level comparison in the Channel Summary Report as well as the Merchandising Zoom (SEM, Affiliates, Email, Shopping Feeds, etc).

• Allows a marketer to place all of his/her campaigns into a single channel to view group performance.

• Recommendation: Grant access to main marketing user.

•**Changes made to this feature are NOT user specific and will be viewed by all users.

Admin: DIP Report

The DIP Report empowers you to monitor data accuracy flow between your data and the Coremetrics reports.

Examples of Usage:

• Match your backend to what is captured by Coremetrics to assure for accuracy.

• Compares orders, items ordered, and sales.

• Check on a regular basis to identify or isolate data discrepancies.

Admin: Coremetrics Excel Plug-in

To download and install the Excel Plug-in:• If You have Microsoft Excel open on your machine, close it before continuing.• Select Coremetrics Excel Plug-in from the Admin menu.• Once the Excel Plug-in page is displayed, click on the Download the Plug-in button. • Note: If an earlier version of the plug-in is detected you will need to uninstall first.• Follow the downloading and installation instructions shown by the setup wizard.• Open Excel to see the following buttons on the toolbar either at the top or side of Excel. • If these buttons are not displayed, select Toolbars from Excel's View menu. • A Coremetrics Toolbar should be listed in the dropdown list. Click on this option to add the Coremetrics

Toolbar to Excel.

The Excel Plug-in enables you to import any of your Coremetrics reports straight into Excel. Once created, the data in an downloaded

spreadsheet can also be updated with the latest report data.

Note: You must have Microsoft Excel installed on your PC to use the Excel Plug-in. You also need to have the .NET framework installed or you will be asked to download and install it before the installation can take place. In addition, decompression software such as WinZip, IZArc, StuffIt or 7-Zip is required to unzip the downloaded plug-in file.

Admin: Alias Optional Fields

Alias Optional Fields allow you to segment, based upon specific attributes collected within the Registration Tag that are important to your business.

Examples include business unit and member type.

Example of Usage:• To have that criteria show up for selection in the key segments and segmentation workbench wizards simply pass additional attributes via “optional” or “extra” fields within the Registration tag.• The facility to give those fields to a meaningful name, provides the opportunity to build segments for specific groups of users.Note: The optional/extra field must have an alias to appear in the key segments wizard for selection.
