Heads UPSee what’s coming to your benefit plans in 2022.

Annual benefits enrollment: October 27 – November 9

Here to helpWellpath provides resources to support you when you need it most, including on-demand video doctor visits and no copays for urgent care or mental health services. You also can access confidential, 24/7 counseling and support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or meet face-to-face with a licensed clinician (up to three sessions per issue). Find more information on WoW under Application Links.

fit Not enrolling? If you don’t actively enroll for your benefits

by November 9:

• Most of your current elections will roll over to next year, including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D and any voluntary benefit plans in which you’re currently enrolled (except the Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Accounts). However, you must select your vaccination status in the Benefits Portal on WoW by November 9. Otherwise, you will be defaulted to “non-vaccinated” and will pay $46.15 per paycheck next year to help cover costs associated with COVID-19.

• You will not be able to participate in a Health Savings Accountor Flexible Spending Account in 2022. You must re-enroll inthese accounts each year.

• You won’t be able to make any changes, other than vaccination status, until the next annual enrollment period (unless you have a qualifying event, like getting married or having a baby).

2022All team members enrolled in a medical plan must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or pay a surcharge of $100 per month ($46.15 per paycheck). This amount will help offset anticipated costs to the plan for those team members who are more likely to become seriously ill due to the coronavirus. With this change, you must select your vaccination status in the Benefits Portal on WoW during annual open enrollment. Otherwise, you will be defaulted to “non-vaccinated” and pay the surcharge—see details on the next panel.

Your share of the cost of healthcare services is changing. We made changes to the medical plan to help keep premium increases (paycheck costs) as low as possible for the majority of our team members. While your out-of-pocket costs for services will increase some, Wellpath will continue to cover the largest share of your medical coverage cost.

For Bronze medical plan participants, Wellpath will no longer make a company contribution to your Health Savings Account (HSA).

Dear Wellpath Team Members,No doubt years from now we will look back on this time as both challenging and rewarding. Challenging in that we all have

been affected by the pandemic in some way; some more significantly than others. Rewarding in that we continue to fight

through this difficult time and find ways to serve despite all that is happening around us.

Every day I am amazed at the courage, determination and dedication of Wellpath team members. On behalf of the entire

executive team, thank you for your continuing efforts.

The pandemic has had an impact on our benefit plans as well. COVID-related claims were much higher than anticipated,

and we experienced increased claims for other chronic conditions as well, likely due to the deferral of many routine healthcare

services. And since our plan is self-funded—meaning we pay directly for each team member’s healthcare expenses—these costs

come right off our bottom line. Despite these challenges, we’ve worked hard to minimize premium increases for next year.

For most of our medical plans, team members will see a 2 to 8.4% increase in their per-paycheck cost beginning January 1.

Your increase will depend on the plan option in which you are enrolled, individual versus family coverage, and your salary.

Despite these financial hurdles, we are pleased to continue to provide a competitive benefits program for all team members.

For 2022, we have made changes to our medical plan to ensure we could keep increased paycheck costs to a minimum

while still offering the coverage you need. And we continue to look for ways to add value to the benefits we provide. A new

offering for next year is a cancer support service that offers virtual access to worldwide experts who can help you manage

a diagnosis and evaluate treatment options with confidence.

We make many choices in life, and as part of the Wellpath team, we’ve chosen to help others. Now is the time for you to

choose what’s best for you in the coming year. Enrollment begins October 27. Review the materials you receive in the

coming weeks and use our decision-support tool to help you select the coverage you need in 2022.

Sincerely,

Ann Hatcher | Chief Human Resources Officer

All team members and covered dependents will have access to a new cancer support program. Cancer Expert Now offers virtual access to oncology experts around the world so you can ask questions, understand diagnosis options and make confident treatment choices.

Team members who have payroll direct deposit with Bank of America can take advantage of a new employee banking program that offers waived account fees, special mortgage interest rates and other benefits.

Our optional ID theft program through Allstate Identity Protection has been enhanced with new tools and additional family and financial protections at no additional cost.

The 2022 Wellpath holiday schedule is changing, but the number of paid days off will remain the same. Beginning next year, we will have seven company holidays (versus six in 2021) and two floating holidays (versus three in 2021). In essence, one of the floating holidays will now be observed as a company holiday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. (Note: This change does not apply to team members who are part of a collective bargaining agreement or who work at a location that follows the client holiday schedule.)

See more information in the 2022 Benefits Guide available in the Benefits Portal on WoW beginning October 27.

Whether to receive a vaccination or not is a key question all team members have addressed this year. At Wellpath, we believe in the science of vaccination and know that if our team members are vaccinated, they’re in a better position to provide care to our patients and protect their coworkers.

As members of the healthcare community, we support all efforts that help end the spread of COVID-19. If you enroll in anyof the medical plan options for 2022, you must select your vaccination status in the Benefits Portal on WoW during annual open enrollment. Otherwise, you will be defaulted to “non-vaccinated” and will pay $46.15 per paycheck next year to help cover costs associated with COVID-19.

Changing your statusYou may update your vaccination status and have the surcharge waived at any time throughout the year.

If you receive the vaccine, notify the BenefitsService Center at 844-378-0630, 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m., ET, Monday – Friday. The change maytake up to two pay periods to be reflected in your paycheck. You will not be reimbursed forprior paycheck surcharges, so be sure to notifythe Benefits Service Center of vaccination status changes as soon as possible.

ExemptionsExemptions are available for medical conditions and sincerely held religious beliefs. Team members with valid exemptions will not be subject to the surcharge. You may access the forms necessary to request an exemption on WoW. Go to WoW > Departments > Clinical > Coronavirus > Documents > Coronavirus COVID-19 Resources > HR > COVID-19 Accommodation Request Forms.

2022All team members enrolled in a medical plan must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or pay a surcharge of $100 permonth ($46.15 per paycheck). This amount will help offsetanticipated costs to the plan for those team members who are more likely to become seriously ill due to the coronavirus.

For Bronze medical plan participants, Wellpath will no longer makea company contribution to your Health Savings Account (HSA).

highlights
