Role: Business Systems Analyst
Project: Responsible for analysis and identification of opportunities to map the supplier service chain across government, in support of system wide supplier assurance. The aim is to visualise the relationships of ICT Suppliers, the ICT services they offer, the business applications the technology supports and the business services the applications enable. Having now successfully demonstrated the potential of network relationship modelling in the ICT Supplier Assurance space, including the development of a prototype modelling data and toolset, I have delivered an approved project business case, project plan and the supporting project initiation document set for presentation to the first Project Board meeting.

Responsibilities: Procurement & Delivery of IT Professional Services
On-boarding of two additional Application Development Service Providers. The work has focused on defining the roles and responsibilities of multiple vendors operating in the same space, plus the BAU handover of application deliveries from development to a 3rd party Application Support Provider.
Dates: December 2014 – December 2015
Responsibilities: Capital Project Initiation
Provision of project consultant resource to the initiation and/or delivery of a number of capital IT projects. Responsibilities included the full range of problem and business analysis documentation and project management documentation as defined by the Department’s IT Project Lifecycle methodology. Responsibilities: Workforce Time Management (WFTM) Project
Initially the troubleshooting and resolution of delays in provision of business requirements specification on the WFTM Project – the introduction of an online shift rostering solution that integrated to payroll.
Then, on formal assignment to the project, the design and documentation of; evolved business process, change impact analysis for the business community, functional system/user guides, user security model, technical and operational support models, data migration design and plan plus the go-live approach and planning.
As part of the implementation work stream, the Change Impact analysis work stream including engagement with the business representatives at each rollout site, facilitating workshops to discuss the rollout and business process impacts the new system would have on each site then documentation of the site specific processes and implementation plan for acceptance and sign off.
Dates: March 2011 – June 2012
Responsibilities: Corrections Kiosk Tender Process
The Corrections Prison Services (PS) Group identified a need to replace the computer Kiosks located in each prison for Prisoners access to information on services, rights and obligations. Responsible for the facilitation of the Corrections Kiosk tender process that included drafting the Procurement Plan, ROI and the RFP, plus the evaluation processes.
Specialised IT Services RFP
The Corrections IT Group identified an on-going need for a range of specialised IT services. Responsible for the facilitation of the Specialised IT Services panel tender process that included drafting the RFP, responding to questions raised by respondents, drafting the evaluation plan and facilitating the evaluation and managing the contract negotiations with the successful respondents.
Prison Services – Health Services Incident Reporting (HSIR)
The HSIR project addresses a national healthcare standard that requires a solution to support the recording, management & reporting of any health related incident that occurs within a prison. Responsible for process analysis, requirements gathering, solution analysis and selection plus business case development prior to the successful technical implementation.
Investigation of Geospatial Technology
Following the September 2010 Christchurch Earthquake, assigned to lead the detailed investigation of the potential for introducing GIS technology into the Department. On completion of an extensive business process and functional design programme, the Department recognised that it did not currently have the business service justification for what would be an extensive business
