Director’s statement

With the purchase of Corbeau Seats Ltd by CMC Ltd back in 2011, followed by being given the role of MD by the board, I had no idea what was in store for me.

Corbeau was such a well-known brand and had worldwide recognition as being leaders in the manufacturing of motorsport safety seats, I soon realised I had some big shoes to fill.

Over the last three years I have systematically implemented some major overhauls in many areas of the business. This has by no means bean an easy task, and proved to be a fine balancing act ensuring that our core business was not affected on a day-to-day basis, while still providing customer satisfaction.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers, who have believed in the brand and assisted us in meeting the goals set each year. If it were not for you we would not be the company I am proud to be heading up today.

With our improved customer service, delivery, product updates and the continued commitment by all Corbeau employees to provide the ultimate seating solutions, we will continue grow.

In 2015 there will be some more significant changes to our business, along with the launch of some very interesting new hi tech products. With our new in-house design and engineering facility fully operational, I am confident that future products produced by Corbeau, will again lead the way.

The LE-Pro has been developed as a direct replacement sports seat for the Lotus Exige & Elise variants, mounting directly on to the standard OEM mounting frames.

This ever popular seat is now available in our full range of composite construction materials, GRP/Kevlar, Kevlar Carbon and Carbon. Finished with our latest range of Jacquard and Spacer trim options, you can now spec this seat to suit your own requirements.

The LE-X provides deep side bolsters and four point harness facility for the true sports car driver who appreciates the extra lateral support.

You wanted an entry-level, composite bucket seat, which is suitable for use in road cars and track day toys, without the hefty price tag that comes with full FIA accreditation. The new Club Sport fills this requirement perfectly as it employs the same advanced construction techniques as our competition spec motorsport seats and comes complete with side mounts and sliding runners to aid installation.

Le-Driver

This composite racing styled bucket seat has been designed to fit a multitude of smaller cockpit performance cars, using the same manufacturing principles and lay-up techniques as our FIA approved seats and with specially designed stiffness ribs moulded into the shell. It uses identical mounting hole centres as our FIA approved seats, allowing the fitment of our very popular Pro-Team mounts, by means of 12.9 high tensile and 8mm cap head fixing bolts. It is trimmed using our high density foam and antibacterial technical fabrics, in a range of colours.

Popular with race and track day drivers where there is no FIA requirement or space and budget is limited, and without compromising safety, this seat is a must.

This six-point mounted seat, designed to maximize the shell stiffness where FIA certification is not required, is a must for short circuit, oval, and Silhouette racers who demand safety at an affordable price.

Using identical composite lay-up techniques as our FIA range of seats, our standard mounting hole centres, allow the use of our Pro-Team mounts.

The Hexa is supplied with our 12.9 high tensile, 8mm cap head mounting bolts and uses our high density motorsport foam. It is covered using our antibacterial technical fabrics in a choice of colours and designs.

Pro-Seat is a bespoke seating solution, and was the brain-child of Trevor Powell. Who produced this revolutionary product. Suitable for all motorsport applications, the Pro-Seat system uses energy-absorbing materials which, during a controlled vacuum forming process that takes place within the vehicle’s chassis or composite seat shell, allow the seat to be adjusted by the driver to achieve the desired position and ultimate fit.

This accuracy not only improves the comfort and safety of the driver, but also increase levels of chassis feedback. Independently proven energy absorbing properties of these unique construction materials also reduces the effects of vibration and driver fatigue.

This is the only seat independently tested by MIRA and GM, and is approved for use in Championship cars throughout the USA.

The system is an entirely clean process, using methods that cause no damage or contamination, nor risk to the driver or vehicle. The materials used have high resistance to fire and, unlike urethane foam, produce no cyanide gas when subjected to naked flame.

You cannot buy a Pro-Seat Kit; we only make seats and inserts professionally for individuals and teams.

This policy ensures a perfect, safe and comfortable seat every time. The Pro-Seat system can be applied to any composite race shell from within the Corbeau range, customised to your individual shape and size using the latest ISO 3795 and ISO 15025 fabrics.

This stylish RACECASE has been designed as a hard shell kit bag to securely hold all of your racing apparel. It’s made from a shock absorbent polycarbonate ABS plastic which, combined together with a TSA lock, provides the safest environment on the market for the kit that keeps you safe in return.

Its design not only creates a rigid shell for all of your racing kit, but the nature of the material provides a shock absorbing flexibility that protects its content from the daily knocks, scrapes and bangs experienced while on the move.

Ariel KitWith the explosion in track day action across the UK, specialist pieces of kit like the Ariel Atom are becoming more and more popular with track day enthusiasts. Corbeau are pleased to announce that development is completeon our exclusive Ariel Atom upgrade kit. This replaces the standard OEMtwin sliding seat installation to give independent sliding composite bucket seats, with full safety harness capabilities.

The advantages of our motorsport derived composite seats over the standard moulded plastic seat are threefold, being independently adjustable for the driver/passenger, increased lateral support and improved seating position, plus the latest selection of high density impact foams and jacquard fabrics – all of which add up to a significant improvement in both driver comfort and chassis feedback, allowing you to push harder and extract the maximum potential from both yourself and the Atom.

The complete kit comprises of a pair of independent seat mounting brackets which bolt into the OEM fixing positions, two pairs of double locking sliding runners, two pairs of lightweight high-tensile steel side mounts and a pair of composite bucket seats designed specifically for use in the Ariel Atom chassis. Installation is so simple it can be carried out in less than 60 minutes.

The 2000 Sport Range is manufactured by LUKE for use in competition spec single seaters, saloon cars and rally cars. The full range is FIA approved and all harnesses come complete with coated anti-creep adjusters, eye bolts and snap hooks where required. Bolt-on anchor plates can also be provided to suit all installation applications.

Off RoadOur purpose designed 5 point off-road belt is available in two sizes, 2” and 3”, and is fitted with a rugged metal latch and quick lock release system.

Luke in conjunction with its technical partner has developed the Ultima–Pro harness for the serious racer where weight and safety are paramount.

Ultima Pro harnesses are manufactured using light weight Mono filament webbing, lightweight aluminium adjusters on both the shoulder and lap straps and come with either a super lightweight Magnesium Alloy buckle, or the newly designed medium weight push button release buckle.

We offer a full range of end fixings, pull up or down lap straps and whole new range of colours

on our 4-5 and 6 point harnesses. Our range is all FHR compatible; we also have saloon and formula FHR specific harnesses to cater for every racing discipline.

There are no mild steel components in these kits - everything is manufactured from stainless steel components that are sourced from the UK’s premier supplier. Corbeau kits come with CNC machined fittings, banjo bolts and new copper

washers (where applicable), stainless steel braided teflon hose and carry a lifetime warranty. Corbeau kits come complete with a protective PVC sleeve, available in a wide choice of different colours. Following on from the very successful Racing Series HANS by Stand 21, the 20 degree Club Series device has been developed to offer a more economical HANS for the clubman competitor for use in rallying and saloon car racing. While more economical this version offers all the safety standards of the far more expensive versions but is much kinder on yourbank account.

The RS-2 is Stand 21’s mid-range HANS device, weighing in at just 826 grams. The RS-2 is manufactured from an exclusive recycled carbon based process that is moulded under very high pressure. This material and the process make it very strong, easily passing the FIA testing programmefor HANS, but also making the device lightweight.The RS2 is currently available in mediumand XL sizes.

The Stand 21 Hi-Tec HANS device is beautifully manufactured in carbon fibre, this makes it both the strongest and lightest within the HANS range (with the exception of the ULTIMATE), weighing in at just 620 grams. It comes in three sizes and with three different angles to suit the variations in seating positions.

As the name ULTIMATE already suggests, this is one of the lightest HANS device that has passed the incredibly tough FIA 8858-2010 homologation process. Weighing in at less than 500 grams, it is almost 30% lighter than the previous top spec Hi-Tec carbon HANS device. Not only is it incredibly light and strong, this version has been made to Stand 21’s new ergonomic shape, designed to fit around your collarbone, which results in improved comfort and usability. The ULTIMATE is manufactured in carbon fibre and is currently only availablein a 20 degree Medium.
