ABOUT THESE PRINTABLES 180 Days of Copywork There are 180 days of Copywork available in this packet covering everything from Bible verses to the Pledge of Allegiance to student addresses and everything in between. Occasionally there may be a day when a copywork as-signment is repeated. Why? Because it is an item that students need to know inside and out. For the most part though, copywork is new each and every day. If you find that your child needs more writing space than what is provided, feel free to let them stop once the writ-ing space is filled or use the extra copywork pages at the end to complete the day’s assignment. The choice is up to you. Before beginning the book, please fill in the blanks on days 1-4, 11-12, 17-18 to customize this notebook to your child’s needs. Why the different colors for the writing area lines? The colors are meant as a guide or mental remind to tell your child where to stop. Blue is for “calmly proceed.” Yellow means “caution, do we stop here?” And red means, “stop, you’ve reached the top.” Without this color differentiation, many students have a hard time knowing where to stop when you say the top line, bottom line or dashed line as the lines seem to all jumble together once they get started copying. Hopefully these little mental clues will be helpful when trying to remind your child which line to stop on and when. Unless otherwise stated all Bible verses are provided in the New International Version.
