Kindly Note:
1. The candidates taking the Diploma in Person has to send the Convocation Form by e-mail ( [email protected] ) latest by 18 th July, 2014 failing which the Diploma will be awarded in absentia only.
2. The Convocation will be held at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014 and candidates taking the Degree / Diploma in person are required to be present on that day by 2:30 p.m. The gowns are to be collected from the NALSAR PRO office at IPR Building by paying a refundable deposit of Rs.1000/- .
3. The candidate taking the Degree / Diploma in person shall present himself/ herself in the academic robes prescribed as under: (a) Ph.D.: black gown with red hood; (b) LL.M./ M.T.B.L.: black gown with yellow hood; (c) B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) : black gown with maroon hood and (d) P.G. Diploma in Patents Law, Cyber Laws, Media Laws, International Humanitarian Law and Aviation Law & Air Transport Management : black gown.
4. A candidate who having submitted his/ her application for taking a Degree / Diploma in person fails to appear at the Convocation shall be charged a penal fee of Rs.1000/- for issuance of the Degree / Diploma subsequent to the Convocation.
5. For those candidates who are taking the Diploma in Absentia, the Certificate will be dispatched to them by Bluedart courier /Speed / Register Post after 8th August, 2014. Any change of address has to be updated in the Convocation Form or sent by e-mail to [email protected] immediately.
