• Ambikapur model of Solid Waste Management is being replicated in Rest of the State

• ‘Best Innovations Award’ by women and child development for child in need and care for protection on 2016 is given to Surguja

• ‘Baal Gorav Honor’ by Child Rights Protection Commission Chhattisgarh for Child Marriage Awareness Campaign is given to District Child Protection Unit Surguja

• ‘State Award for Literacy Campaign’ in 2015 was given to Surguja
