2) Each of the boys’ are writing a different story.
Each of the boys is writing a different story. (‘Each’ is singular so you need to use ‘is’ not ‘are’. Boys is plural and isn’t showing possession, so you don’t need the apostrophe).
3) Did Taylor and me borrow the wrong car.
Did Taylor and I borrow the wrong car? (To decide whether to use I or me, think which one you would say if you were just talking about yourself, e.g. ‘Did me borrow the wrong car?’ doesn’t sound right).
4) how many people seen the strange object?
How many people saw the strange object? Or How many people have seen the strange object?
5) Randall said, “Its too late to go out”!
Randall said, “It’s too late to go out!” Its should be it is and the punctuation should be inside the speech marks.

WritingToday you will be using your mind map from yesterday's lesson to write
some ideas for a wanted poster.
You won't be making the poster today. You will be
getting all your ideas and sentences together.
Here is an example of a wanted poster:
Title-to say it's a wanted poster
Reward- what will the person get if they find
them
Name of the person/thing that is
wanted.
Explain what they are wanted for.
Describe what they look like
Describe and explain where they were last seen and what
they were doing
Explain what people should do if they see
them.
Image of the wanted
person/thing
In your home learning journal can you now write down your ideas and sentences for a
wanted poster that could be placed around the City-within-the –City.
Lord Spittleworth needs the people to continue believing in the Ickabog. He has
decided to put wanted posters up to remind everybody of how dangerous it is.
Can you help him?
Here is a plan to help you.
• Title:
• Thing that is wanted:
• Reward: (How any Ducats)
• Why is it wanted: (explain why The Ickabogneeds to be found)
• What does it look like: (describe it's appearance, make it as scary as possible and write in full sentences)
• Where was it last seen: (Spittleworth needs the people to believe it was last seen killing the Butcher and crossing the border)
• What should people do if they see it: (remind people that it is very dangerous, to stay away)
Tomorow you will be using all your ideas to make the
wanted poster. You will need a plain piece
of paper and a tea bag!
