Yellow is a very vibrant colour and so is used to highlight the most important parts of the design.

Blue matches the artists shirt and ties the page together. Blue also is psychologically a masculine colour and pulls in a male audience of which this magazine specialises in.

‘Papa Roach’ at the top of the features list, as the main image and a quote underneath to tie the page together and drag focus to this one artist.
