Our Design Services

Design & LayoutWe charge an hourly rate of £40 for our design services. Artwork costs and timings are agreed in advancement of commencement of a project. A deposit may be required for design work exceeding 3 hours.

No additional time will be spent on design without discussing it with you first.

Artwork AmendsIf you are looking to amend a piece of existing artwork we charge a minimum fee of £15.

For artwork amends that take an hour or longer, our standard design rate of £40 per hour applies.

Scanning A4 / A3Scanning a document is chargeable at £2.50 for the initial page, plus 25p per subsequent page.

Scan & StitchFor documents larger than A3 we offer a scan and stitch service for £15 per image. Artwork is scanned in separate sections and

Photoshop to create a seamless image.

Saddle StitchedDespite the name, saddle stitched booklets are not sewn together; they are folded and stapled along the spine. This is our standard binding process.

Booklets that are saddle stitched are printed two-up, folded, then stapled - therefore the number of pages will always need to be a multiple of four.

Depending on the number of pages and weight of the chosen paper, a booklet may be too thick to be saddle stitched. In this instance, we recommend having your book perfect bound.

Perfect Bound (PUR)You can recognise a perfect bound book from its square spine. This is a high-end method of finishing.

Perfect bound books do not need to be set in multiples of four, as the pages are cut and collated individually.

As the spine of the book needs to be filled, a minimum 5mm capacity generally applies to books being perfect bound.

*A setup fee of £110 is required when having a book perfect bound.

Presentation Folders

Ideal for use in meetings, presentations and for putting together packs of literature or sales documents. We offer standard and custom folder sizes die-cut to shape, then printed onto a 350gsm card stock to ensure a sturdy finished product.

Additional options include a range of card or plastic pockets, different spine capacities and business card slots. *Print runs of 100 and 250 include a blank corner pocket glued to the inside back cover, which cannot be printed on to. Double sided designs must take this into consideration.
