This case study has been designed for the partial fulfillment of the degree of Bachelor of Business studies (B.B.S) prescribed in T.U syllabus for three year course. This course has helped student to enhance the knowledge and skill such as interpersonal communication, managerial and administrative problem identification and analysis skill. I would like to express heartfelt thanks to T.U. authorities that have initiate this B.B.S level field work course in Nepal and give student an opportunity to get quality education in our country.

I feel so pleased, when I got an opportunity to write field work on the topic Institutional and Household Progress of Water Supply in Kathmandu valley. I want to thank Kathmandu water supply team for their kind co-operation. I want to give thank to Kedar P. Acherya lecturer of project Management for kind and sincere guidance.

During preparation of the report, I get special help from my parents, my senior Ms. Rima Rupakheti and Mr. Ram Gautam. So I would like to thank for their kind co-operation.

Finally, I would not want to state that this progress report is completely perfect and satisfactory. I have tried my best to analyze the present condition of water supply in Kathmandu valley.

Thank you!
