Hot Water Production.

Antelope Wells Forward Operating Base

C&E Industrial Services, Inc. broke new ground in installing the solar panel array at the Forward Operating Base located in Antelope Wells, NM. The project consisted of both hot water and energy production.

The energy production side of the project consisted of the installation of a total of 30 panels. These were laid out in four arrays, three rows of eight and one row of five. The total accumulated power available from this array is 38.64 kW.

The hot water production side of the project consisted of a three collector configuration with a 120 gallon capacity. The single wall heat exchanger provides up to 70% of the energy required for water heating directly from the sun. The heat is transferred from the heating medium to the usable water through the heat exchanger.

the Sun and Solar

Energy, what a source

of Power.” –Thomas
