CONSTRUCTION, FITMATERIALS,

The RSD apparel collection borrows deeply from RSD custom bikes. With the subtle merging of motorcycling heritage and modern components, we’ve created the perfect combination of style and function. Our unique materials for main bodies uti-lize waxed and oiled leathers, waxed cotton, heavy duck cotton and PU coated cotton. The goal was to create a line of riding and living apparel using materials that offer excellent riding comfort and protection without sacrificing everyday wearability, even when you’re not riding.

“AIRBORNE” LEATHEr Waxed Cotton


Our RSD Waxed Cotton utilizes a highly specialized textile treatment that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn’t wash a leather jacket you shouldn’t wash or dry clean your RSD Waxed Cotton jacket. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing. A periodic cleaning with a hose or damp cloth is all that is needed. We suggest using Martexin™ Wax to retreat bare areas which will restore the wax finish.

Our Washed, Waxed and Oiled “Airborne” Leather is our signature leather and follows a unique, exclusive process that ensures a one-of-a-kind supple, yet extremely protective result.1. We start with “A” Grade top grain cowhides that are tanned, dyed, and pre-oiled. The garment is then assembled using all nylon thread, without the linings or trims. 2. The unfinished jacket is washed using our environmentally safe propri-etary washing process which softens the leather without losing critical tear, abrasion or tensile strength. Once air dried (approximately 4 days), the gar-ment goes to final assembly for linings and trims. 3. Once assembled, each jacket is then hand oiled and waxed, achieving a unique, “already broken in” custom finish that will wear and age beautifully, without sacrificing protection.

We use only the finest available hides for our leather and require all our suppliers to be REACH compliant, plus AZO and PCP free. Each RSD leather jacket receives customized treatment and handling which gives every piece its unique, one-of-a-kind finish, with an “already broken in” feel that usually takes years to achieve.

All RSD jackets have armor ready pockets, built to ride, but still retain everyday comfort. We partnered with Forcefield™, experienced armor specialists to create RSD’s lightweight, 3-layer low profile armor. All CE™ certified.

RSD jackets are built to ride, but still retain everyday comfort. We pay extra attention to getting our fit “just right”. Our forward rotated, pre-curved sleeves, flex panels and forward rotated collar openings, allow for all day riding, while retaining “walk-around” comfort.

WARRANTY and RETURN INFORMATION

RSD Limited Warranty:RSD Apparel is warranted against defects in material and work-manship from the original date of purchase for a period of five (5) years for leather jackets and one (1) year for textile jackets and leather gloves. RSD Apparel will, within the first ninety (90) days of purchase, replace the item if after inspection the garment is deemed to be not in conformance with our standards. After ninety (90) days, the warranty is limited to the repair of the parts and the necessary labor and services to repair the item. If the item after inspection is deemed non-repairable, RSD will replace the item or if item is discontinued or not available, an item of equal value at RSD discretion. Only the original purchaser of this product is cov-ered under this limited warranty. This warranty is non-transferable. Original proof of purchase is required.

How to return:Please return your product to the authorized retailer from whom you purchased it from, along with your original receipt. Upon in-spection the retailer at its discretion will determine if the garment is eligible under our limited warranty. If deemed warranted, the retailer will return it to RSD for inspection where at our discretion the item will be repaired or replaced. No other expense will be incurred by you. This limited warranty does not cover changes to the color of the leather/textile, scratches, tears, or other damage caused by nor-mal wear and tear, accident damage or improper care or cleaning.
