Dr. Madhura Bedarkar

Dr. Madhura Bedarkar works with Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM Pune) as an Assistant Professor. She has Ph.D. in Economics from University of Mumbai. Also, she has a master degree in Personnel Management (MPM) from University of Pune.

Dr. Madhura has worked as an Economist with several NGOs and Chambers of Commerce and Industry, wherein she was involved in several research projects in the fields of civic issues, marketing research and environmental research. She moved to academics in the year 2009. Since then, she had been associated as visiting faculty with several institutes.

Dr. Madhura joined Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune (SIBM P) in January, 2013, as a full time faculty. Her teaching areas include Managerial Economics, Business Environment, Micro/Macro Economics and Organization Change and Development.

Its large and robust markets offer tremendous potential to businesses for expanding their profitability. It is seen as a safe abode for foreign investments. However, Indian growth story has several challenges.The global economy is also at a critical yet interesting juncture. This programme aims to introduce participants to recent developments in Indian and global economies.
