The Easiest Way to Add a Contact
1. Open a received e-mail.
2. Right click on the sender’s e-mail address.
3. Select Add to Contacts from the drop down menu.
A New Contact window opens.
1. Edit the information in the Display Name field.
2. Enter text in the following fields: Last Name, First Name.
3. The e-mail address should have automatically been entered in the E-mail Address field.
4. Click Save and Close button.
Method 2: To Add a Contact
A pane with buttons are located to the left.
Click the CONTACTS button.
A new window
opens.
Located in the toolbar is the word: New.
Click the New button.
A new window opens.
Enter text in the following fields:
Last Name First Name Display Name E-mail Address
HINT
By entering additional information, Contacts can be used as a personal address book which can be accessed anytime, anywhere, via the Internet.
After the information is entered:
Click the Save and Close button.
To Use Contacts: Method 1
In Webmail, a button pane is located to the left.
Click the Contacts button.
A new window opens.
In Contacts, double click on the dark blue bar that contains the name of the person you are sending the e-mail.
A new window opens.
At the top of the window is a toolbar.
Click on the icon: Send Mail to Contact.
(Icon image is a sheet of paper, with an envelope in front of it.) A new message opens, addressed to the recipient.
Method 2:
Open a New Message.
Type the recipient’s name in the To field.
Click on the Check Name icon.
The resolved name appears above the To field.
