AUGUST IS MEN’S MONTH HERE AT PRBC Our Men's Fellowship is on the 2nd Monday of every month
at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall. Join us Monday, August 10 for Food, Fellowship, and Fun in Jesus Christ.
PRBC’s Male Chorus will rehearse at 7pm on August 24 and 27th. ALL MEN are asked to come together for practice.

Breakfast & Movie Fellowship
Join us for breakfast at 8am at Fire Mountain, located at 730
Elmwood Rd, near the Lansing Mall, ($8.50/person). At 10am we will be at Celebration Cinema on Edgewood, where the men of PRBC will watch Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation (PG-13),
the cost is $5 per person.
Sat. Aug 15 —EVANGELIZING & OUTREACH IN OUR COMMUNITY
After the business meeting (11am) the men will go door-to-door in pairs and hand out flyers for our outdoor jazz concert
and men’s workshop while praying for each family and sharing the love of Jesus Christ in the surrounding community of the
church. See Rev. Rogers or Rev. Scruggs for details.
Sat. AUG 23 —Real Men Can Cook!
The whole church is invited to come eat and fellowship from noon – 1:30 pm in the fellowship hall as our men showcase their culinary skills and favorite dishes for us to sample.
Sat. AUG 29 -Men’s Workshop & Outdoor Jazz Concert
ALL MEN AND YOUNG MEN are invited to join us here for our annual Men’s Workshop breakfast at 8am. The workshop lasts from 9am to 11:30am and will include teachings from Pastor Stan Parker of Faith Fellowship and our very own Rev. Dwight McQuirter.
The Outdoor Jazz Concert, featuring the band 496 West, will be in the church parking lot from 3 pm to 5 pm and is for the entire community to enjoy! So come relax and be blessed!
SUN. AUG 30 –MEN’S DAY CELEBRATION & WORSHIP SERVICE
Everyone is asked to join us for our 10am worship service as we include guest speaker Pastor Mark Baldwin of Advancing God’s Kingdom Ministries of Lansing in our celebration of the men of PRBC. August 30th is a 5th Sunday and we will not have Sunday school.

MIDWEEK WORSHIP SERVICE WILL BE HELD
ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5. On the first Wednesday of each month, which is this Wednesday,
August 5, we will have a Mid-week service during which we will
worship our Lord and Savior through prayer, the spoken word and
songs of praise. PRBC members are asked to invite friends and
family out for this 7pm service.
FASTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUGUST 5 On Wednesday, August 5 and on the 1st Wednesday of each month,
PRBC fasts and prays as a corporate body from 6am until 6pm.
We will break the fast together at 6pm with a light dinner.

2015 Women’s Conference Registration Ladies, we are excited about the 2015 Women’s Conference and want to get you involved. If you would like more information, please attend a brief meeting after service on Sunday, August 16 where you can sign up to sing in the choir, be a part of the praise team, dance team, and much more. Registration will open on August 16 as well. You won’t want to miss the early bird registration deadline. This year’s theme is “Women of Strength, Released from Strongholds, Freed from Shame and Determined to Praise”!
KC3’S BACK-TO-SCHOOL INITIATIVE Back packs and school supplies will be distributed at Vacation Bible School again this year. We are asking for all ministries to help send our kids back to school prepared for a dynamic year. This year we need the following items: backpacks (middle and high school), crayons, spiral notebooks, three-ring binders, flash drives, mechanical pencils, highlighters, pocket folders, dividers, hand sanitizers, and Kleenex (small packs). We are asking for donations to be put in the fellowship hall in the bin labeled “KCT BTS” by Friday, August 14. Supplies will be given out on Friday, August 21st (last day of VBS).
GRANDPARENTS ESSAY CONTEST The KC3 Ministry’s “Why I Love my Grandparents” essay contest has officially opened. The submission deadline is August 30. Only one (1) essay may be submitted by each contestant. Essays can be written about a grandparent(s) living or deceased. For an application, Please see Sis. Faye Watson, Sis. Michelle Lowden or Sis. ♥2 Hearts, One Flesh♥ The Two Hearts, One Flesh Marriage Ministry will sponsor its second event, ”Date Night at the Park Under—Under the Cabana”, for married couples on Friday, August 14. The mission of the ministry is to glorify God by helping support healthy and stable marriages and families. Come fellowship with other married couples of PRBC at Hawk Island Park (1601 Cavanaugh Rd, Lansing) from 6pm to 9pm. Activities available to couples include: row and pedal boats, nature trail walk, bike riding, games, sand volleyball, fishing and horseshoes and more. Couples are asked to pay their own park entry fee ($3/Ingham County residents, $5/Non-Ingham County residents).
