Fully Traceable Components All products are fully traceable to source of supply and our processes are audited by several customers to a safety critical level. When combined with state of the art cloud based vending machines, real time traceability from steel mill to vehicle of the components to each member of the production teams is possible.

Kitting of Parts We specialise in kitting solutions where a mix of fasteners and consumables can be supplied in one kit. Sub-assemblies of parts can also be supplied as kits. This reduces the time spent by your employees in procurement, stores and assembly. By working closely with our customers to provide tailor made solutions, the amount of operational downtime is minimised, as is the risk of overstocking.

Vending Machine Technology High Technology vending machines which store, monitor and dispense fasteners and consumables to individual team members which is a significant benefit to customers. The combination of our quality control and supply chain processes and the innovative vending cabinets with cloud based software, provide a unique service that provides tangible efficiency improvements.

High Value Item Management Innovative vending solutions allow management of high value items where the cabinet can be programmed to send an e-mail to a supervisor when an item has not been returned within a specific timescale, detailing who last took the item from the vending machine. This system also works well with calibrated tools as the cabinet software can set the number of hours before recalibration is required, eliminating the need for separate paper records.

On-site Support Unipart Rail has a team of site support staff who deliver and stock manage the components on behalf of the customer using Kanbans and line-side stock bins. Regular reviews with the customer’s procurement and technical teams can identify better value or improved performance products to ensure the best combination of components are supplied.

Free Site Survey We offer a free site survey and product identification service together with a supply chain review to assess any procurement issues and propose resolutions to these.

Bar Coded Stock Bins Traditional supply methods where consumables are stored in bar coded stock cabinets and fasteners in bin systems can be provided.
