We offer a calendar of events throughout the year, which includes a selection of general Health & Safety training. We are a registered provider of Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) training courses, and can also deliver Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) courses.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace and IOSH Working Safely are both suitable for all members of staff. They are good foundation level courses that will enable staff to understand the principles and importance of health & safety and accident prevention, and will provide them with the skills to contribute to your health & safety policy or management system.

The CIEH Level 3 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace qualification provides a thorough understanding of health and safety emphasising the importance of monitoring staff and controls. It also details the need for a structured management approach to health and safety and the key factors in implementing health and safety policy.

The IOSH Managing Safely course won’t turn delegates into safety experts – but it will give them the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and safety issues they’re responsible for. Importantly, it brings home just why health and safety is such an essential part of their job. Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate.

The foundations for health & safety provision are Risk Assessments. Depending on the size and nature of your business, a number of risk assessments will need to be carried out by a competent person/s.

This course is particularly suitable for nominated workplace first aiders and is HSE approved.

Manual HandlingThis course uses practical sessions to establish understanding of the correct lifting methods and techniques. Delegates will be expected to participate, demonstrating that they are comfortable using the efficient movement principles lifting method, explained during the training.
