I first downloaded sound effects from www.soundjay.com . I then opened the files in Audacity and cut the pieces of each file that I wanted and placed them into the same file so that I could edit and arrange them into the appropriate order.

I first downloaded sound effects from www.soundjay.com. I then opened the files in Audacity and cut the pieces of each file that I wanted and placed them into the same file so that I could edit and arrange them into the appropriate order.
I cropped, merged and placed the sound files into the correct place on the time line. Then, using an external microphone, I recorded my dialogue and placed it into the time line.
