MPR (Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat)

• People’s Consultative Assembly• Consists of DPR and DPD

– DPR is representing all political parties– DPD is representing provinces (4 people each)

• Amends UUD 1945• Inaugurates President and Vice President

DPR (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat)

• House of Representatives/Parliament/Legislative Assembly

• Consists of all political parties• Legislates regulations (‘Undang-Undang’) under

UUD 1945.• Approves annual finance proposal from the

government (APBN)

Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK)

• Auditing financial expenditure of government

Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK)

• To evaluate any regulations issued by DPR and Government – to ensure it doesn’t conflict to the regulations

on it.• Consists of 9 members

Komisi Yudisial (KY)

• Judicial Commission• Monitoring all judges to act honestly, clean

and professional.

department ministers)• Presidential system• State and government leaders• Supreme commander
