XBOX ONE

The Xbox one console was brought out during 2013 this console was suppose too destroy its competitors such as ps4 and Wii U; the main peripherals are a controller as well as the Kinect. The Xbox is a powerful console and a big part of the games industry

The Online mode is very user friendly and has an easy use interface. It is much easier to join your friends online and has a variety of very good exclusives.

he specs for the Xbox are not as good as the PS4 with the CPU. Many people believe the Kinect is a bad selling point as the previous Kinect was very glitch.

PLAYSTATION 4

The PlayStation 4 was brought out in 2013` and has also been a major contender in the gaming industry. The peripherals for this console include an external hard drive and a touch sensitive controller . The specs are very similar to the Xbox, however does have better hardware then the Xbox. But this does not mean better console.

The PlayStation 4 has better specs then the Xbox One so can run games at a much higher standard. The controller also has a touch screen interface on the pad allowing you interact with the game in a new way

The PlayStation Online is not as easy to use as Xbox live. Many players do not like the touch screen as they often find themselves performing an action by accident

WII U

The Wii U was brought out in 2012 and was one of a kind hand controller that made the Wii a more extensive immersive gaming experience and aimed to bring hard core gamers away from PC and other consoles and to the Wii however I felt failed its task and Nintendo still are a casual gaming company.

It is the cheapest out of all 3 consoles. It is fun and allows players to interact with the environment much more than other consoles as well as feeling more immersed.

The biggest disadvantage is the Specs it is not very powerful meaning it can’t run high spec games at their full potential. Also many players believe it to be a casual console compared to the other 2 consoles.
