15 years ago, KraussMaffei launched its now pro-

ven two-platen technology for injection moulding

machines. The robust and innovative clamp design

delivers multiple benefits. To celebrate “15 years

of 2-platen technology”, KraussMaffei is offering

the CX ClassiX series – a special range of small

2-platen machines for standard applications in

the lower clamp force range. ClassiX injection

moulding machines offer you reliability, great

modularity and a wide choice of standard options

for maximum flexibility. The CX ClassiX series is

a range of hydraulic machines with clamp forces

from 35 to 130 t. The 2-platen design keeps them

compact and the 4-tiebar clamp ensures high

precision and efficiency.

Compact clamp frees up production space

The proven 2-platen concept produces a clamp

unit around 30% shorter than other concepts.

The cantilevered clamp makes it easy to position

conveyors and handling systems. It allows you

scope for individual automation solutions.
