Consent for the recording and use of photographic and audio-visual material

I, the undersigned, give permission to the Church, hereafter referred to as “the controller”, to capture photographs or audio-visual material of the person/s named hereunder in line with the General Terms and Conditions for the Protection of Personal Data in Parishes (accessible on www.church.mt) and any other Archdiocesan policy or applicable law.

I consent to the use of such material in printed publications, online websites, news and media reporting, social media platforms, or other promotional material owned or commissioned by the -controller for archival, educational, and related promotional purposes.

I understand that such material shall only be used for the abovementioned purposes of the controller; will be used and retained as outlined in the General Terms and Conditions for the Protection of Personal Data in Parishes.

I am also aware that the Church may distribute or sell any photographs or audio-visual material to other data subjects who appear in such media.

I am informed I also have the right to withdraw the consent provided. If I wish to exercise such right, or have any other queries, I may contact the parish priest or rector of the Church.

This consent supersedes any previously withheld consent regarding capturing of photographs or audio-visual material of the person/s named hereunder.
