Law school has the reputation for being one of the most difficult tasks one can take on.
Of course, this creates relentless fears about starting your law program.
This is a summary of the most common law school fears and ways to get over them.

C H O O S I N G Y O U R C O U R S E S
• The idea of picking your courses for law school will feel incredibly intimidating
• Don’t let the fear of failing a course prevent you from taking it
• The courses you are most scared of are the courses where you’ll learn the most
E X A M S
• Going blank on an exam will happen at least once; the fear of failure can be overwhelming
• Your professors are not out to destroy you; they want you to succeed
• Tips:
• RELAX. Breathe.
• Take the time to write out all of your thoughts. Then go back and edit.
P U B L I C S P E A K I N G
• It’s normal to be terrified of speaking in front of your peers & teachers
• But, when your teacher calls on you in class, remember they are prepping you for the high pressure of the court room
• Use those opportunities to your advantage: Allow yourself to be trained to think quickly on your feet
