“Fun Is Good” Will Be Addressed at SpringWorld 2020 Kick-off Dinner October 17 in Schaumburg All CASMI members, SpringWorld 2020 exhibitors and suppliers who are considering exhibiting are invited to attend the SpringWorld 2020 Kick-off dinner on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at Maggiano’s in Schaumburg, Illinois. The event will feature an update on the 2020 SpringWorld Trade Show, the opportunity to secure exhibit space, network with industry colleagues, and a fantastic speaker!
Guest Speaker
Mike Veek, Visionary & Co-Founder, Fun Is Good, will present “Creating Joy and Passion in Your Workplace and Career”. When we find our joy and passion, great things happen, in both our work world and in our personal lives. It makes sense, yet it’s so hard to put into practice. Mike Veeck shows us how to discover what brings us joy and then “live it” in all that we do.
You will LAUGH, be INSPIRED and have FUN! Mike’s motivating stories will have you reflecting on enhancements or adjustments you can make to your
work environment (and even with friends or family) to positively impact productivity and over-all satisfaction. You will learn ways to re-energize the workforce to increase engagement, discover how to find your passion and bring it into your work and personal life. You’ll also be reminded that today, more than ever, we need to reduce stress with fun! Mike’s experiences and real-life examples prove over-and-over again that a common trait of a successful and engaged team is a work environment that fosters respect, trust and fun!

SpringWorld 2020 Update
SpringWorld 2020 will take place Oct. 7-9, 2020, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
Attending SpringWorld provides a unique opportunity to network with other spring manufacturers, wire formers and more. One-on-one discussions with others who share your problems and concerns can be invaluable in gaining new insights for your business. In addition, you will see the newest technology available to improve your productivity, quality, and service. You can speak directly with exhibitors who can answer your questions. There are also free educational seminars being offered by exhibitors on the show floor.
As this issue of the CASMI Connection Newsletter goes to press, the trade show is already 75% sold! CASMI sponsors SpringWorld every two years. New technology presented at this event brings thousands of people to the Chicago area from all over the world. Since the first show in 1959, SpringWorld has become the largest gathering of the Spring Manufacturing and Wire Forming Industry anywhere at one time. At SpringWorld 2018, more than 110 exhibiting companies demonstrated machinery, showed raw materials, tested equipment, software and other products and services in nearly 32,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
