PROCESS COMMUN ICAT ION MODEL PCM®

Where PCM® comes from Process Communication originated from a clinical model developed by Dr. Taibi Kahler called the Minis-cript. Dr. Kahler is an internationally recognized clinical psychologist and his work is focused on the “how” of communication between people.

Dr. Kahlers 1972 research and subsequent publication of this means for rapid diagnosis and treatment re-sulted in Dr. Kahler being given the 1977 Eric Berne Memorial Scientific Award for the most important scientific discovery that year in his field of psychology. This award was given by the International Transac-tional Analysis Association and was conferred by 10,000 of his colleagues in 52 countries

Psychologists and psychiatrists using Dr. Kahler’s concepts (PTM or PCM®) are able to significantly reduce treatment time. The various management applications now range from selection to placement, from moti-vation to improved personal relations, from sales to service, and much more.)

Psychologists and psychiatrists using Dr. Kahler’s concepts are able to significantly reduce treatment time. In 1978 Dr. Terry McGuire, the consulting psychiatrist at NASA for the space program, asked Taibi to sit in on the astronaut selection interviews. With NASA’s involvement, Dr. Kahler translated the concepts into behavioral terms.

CEOs saw the value in the concepts as a management tool and asked him to translate the concepts into management terms. He did and went commercial in 1981. The various forms now range from selection to placement, from motivation to improved personal relations, from sales to service, and much more. Today Kahler Communications has certified more than 1000 trainers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. There are affiliate offices throughout the world. What PCM® is helpful for On the job or in the private: The key to success is a common language. Whoever wants to lead and motivate people and induce changes, has to be able to focus on his partners, to know their personality types and needs, and to communicate to them on the right „communication channel“. Only so collaboration will be efficient and objectives can be realised consequently. PCM® gives you a clue to your own personality structure, your own communication patterns and your personal success and failure factors. With the model you can identify different personality types and choose the proper communication channel accordingly. Process Communication Model® is so innovative, because it not only focuses on the contents (WHAT) in dealing with others, but it helps substantially to improve your ability of interaction (HOW). It helps to set the conditions for productive and positive relationship and cooperation. Process Communication Model® teaches practical techniques for leadership, team work and client orienta-tion. Based on personality type oriented communication and management it is a powerful and general tool to create constructive and productive communication processes.

YOUR PERSONAL PERSONAL ITY PA TTERN INVENTORY (PP I )

Rainer Musselmann, head of Kahler Communications (KCG) and owner of the PCM® licence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is offering - exclusively to the participants of the TE conference 2011 - for an additional fee of ! 60.- a PERSONALITY PATTERN INVENTORY (PPI). Normally the costs for a PPI range from 150 to 250 ! plus additional costs of 2 hour debriefing session with a PCM® coach. Otherwise the PPI is only available as part of a PCM® training. Taking the PPI IT IS NOT NECESSARY for benefiting from our guest speaker! IT IS SIMPLY A GREAT OFFER! The Personality Pattern Inventory (PPI) is based on a questionnaire of 48 questions with multiple answers, which are processed by a computer program designed by PCM specialists. It is a statistically validated as-sessment that identifies an individual's personality structure and includes reports on preferred communi-cation styles, perception of the world, psychological needs and potential stress patterns as well as effecti-ve intervention mechanisms.

Your personal PPI according to PCM®, includes a print-out of your “KEY TO ME” (about 40 pages) and your “PERSONALITY ARCHITECTURE” (about 20 pages). To get to it involves the following steps:

1. Upon your payment of the ! 60.- (if possible, PLEASE together with your conference fee), you will receive your link to the PPI questionnaire.

2. Please read the instructions carefully. And … it’s simple!

3. After having finished the questionnaire it will be electronically processed by Kahler Communications of Rainer Musselmann. Your print-out will be brought to the conference.

4. If many of us choose for the PPI, Rainer Musselman (who lives near Munich) has offered to join us for the day for free, so that he would be – in addition to Uwe - available for answering questions regard-ing your PPI. And if wanted, Uwe, Rainer and Sonja are prepared to answer questions regarding your PPI in separate smaller group sessions on Friday evening. (THIS IS OPTIONAL and for us to decide! It is again an offer only!)

We encourage you to take the opportunity of the PPI. It builds on the personality types we learned during our TE training (obsessive-compulsive, paranoid, histrionic, passive aggressive, schizoid, psychopath, ... ) and adds more aspects to the knowledge of your personality architecture.

“We from the organization committee filled in a PPI during our last meeting, made available through Sonja who uses PCM® professionally. It was fun, quick to grasp and immediately applicable.”
