Leaders of industrial and manufacturing pioneers in our country like Ford and GEhave come forward to declare their strategy shifting to focus on technology, and the reasonsare clear. Cisco’s recent report shows that mobile users are growing 2X faster than theglobal population and that video will account for 75% of all mobile traffic by 2020.

Consortium Controls Standards
As the administrator of the Qualified Product List (QPL), the DesignLights Consortium (DLC)determines which LED lighting products will qualify for incentives from your local utilitycompany. When the DLC makes changes, we listen.
The DLC recently closed public comment on the second draft of their Network LightingControl System Specification. This was an important step for the DLC because the draftspecification will ultimately become the basis for a Qualified Product List related toNetworked Lighting Control Systems. This is a significant change, because to date, mostutility companies have looked at projects with Networked Lighting Controls Systems undertheir "custom incentives" program. Custom incentives have given utility companies the abilityto evaluate the savings projections of an LED lighting and intelligent lighting controls projecton a casebycase basis and to produce substantial rebates as a result.
