The “All Hands on Deck” $3.2 million capital
campaign to eliminate the debt on the Family Life
Center, to remodel Bethel Hall and the kitchen, to
expand our storage areas and to create a new fund
for the missions beyond our walls is well
underway! We are grateful that less than
$202,000 remains to pay off our bank loan, plus our
commitment to missions. Donations may be made
online by using the “GIVE” tab at www.naz.org or
by writing “All Hands on Deck” in the subject line of
your check. Take a look at the banner near Naz
Next Steps in Fellowship Hall to follow the progress
we are making toward reaching our goal! Now is
the time to be sure we finish strong!

Bibles and Hymnals: Thank you to everyone who
generously helped purchase new Bibles and
hymnals! As of this morning, we've now fully
transitioned to our new English Standard Version
Bibles and our new Evangelical Lutheran Worship
hymnals. If you desire any of our former pew Bibles
and hymnals for personal use, we invite you to stop
by Fellowship Hall and take as many as you wish.
Picnic: Thank you to all who joined us at the
Nazareth Picnic last Sunday! Even though the rain
kept us from the outdoors, it was a wonderful evening
filled with food, fun and fellowship. A special thanks
to all who volunteered and/or provided donations in
order to help make it such a special night for all who
attended.

Dick VandeKieft
Our deepest sympathy to Juanita Blaser and her

Communion: Throughout the fall, we plan to offer
communion exclusively through intinction on the first

individual cup on the fourth Sunday of each month.
This morning, we invite you to take your time and come
forward to receive the blessing of communion. During
these coming months, our Nazareth staff, Worship and

better understanding of our best practices around
communion distribution, knowing it is one of the most
meaningful sacraments we share as a congregation.
