Product DescriptionConnect was built to make it easier to stay connected to your friends throughout life. Connect shows all your friends from social networks on a map, and can notify you when they are nearby. You can see where friends have checked in recently, as well as the cities they live in around the world. Connect was designed so that all your friends from Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, iPhone Contacts, Google Contacts, and LinkedIn show up on your map - so, from the very start, your map will have hundreds of your people on it.

With Connect, you can check in and tell your friends how long you’ll be somewhere, and easily share it with your social networks. Also, your Connect address book automatically stays up-to-date, making it easier to keep in touch with everyone. Now you’ll know where your friends are, and have your entire network in your pocket as you move around the world.

How is Connect different?Connect has solved the biggest problem with location apps: network density.

With an app like Foursquare, you only see friends on your map who also use Foursquare. So you’ll usually only have only a few friends on your map.

Connect is designed differently. Connect is an open platform that integrates with Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, iPhone Contacts, Google Contacts, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

On Connect, you’ll have hundreds of your friends on the map right from the start, making it immediately useful and fun.

Anytime one of your friends from social networks post at a specific location on Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, or Connect they’ll show up on your Connect map in a red map marker.

Black markers show what cities your friends live in based on data from Facebook and LinkedIn. So whether you’re traveling to Los Angeles or London, you’ll always know who to visit.

With Connect, you can check-in once and share it to all your social networks and tell your friends how long you’ll be there.

Finally, with Connect you’ll have all your friends and contacts in an automatically updated address book available in the top right. So your entire network will be in your pocket.

Connect helps you stay in touch with the people in your life, throughout your life – as they move around the world, change jobs, adopt new social platforms, and change contact information.

What problem are you solving?Today, our friends are contacts are spread out across many different places and platforms.

It’s hard to keep track of our friends when some are on Facebook, some are on Instagram, some are on Foursquare, some are on LinkedIn, some are in our phone, and some are on Gmail.

We wanted to build a tool that brought together everyone we knew from social networks, email, and our phone book into one single application.

We wanted a tool that mapped our friends based on the cities they live in and where they’ve checked in on any platform so we could always know where our friends are.

Simply put, we wanted to easily keep in touch with our friends throughout life.

So we built Connect.
