The workshop will provide a cross-disciplinary approach to the challenge of anti-microbial resistant (AMR) bacteria causing sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Antimicrobial resistance is a complex challenge, most of the data and published work is focused on high income settings, but the main burden of disease due to drug resistance will occur in low and middle income (LMIC) countries.
