ALGEBRA II/GEOMETRY

Geometry has been practicing area and circumference of sectors. These skills are common on the SAT's. We
will review and test Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday, we will have a lesson over inscribed angles, and Fri-
day we will take a quiz over inscribed angles. This will be a test grade, so hopefully we can improve some av-
erages!
Algebra 2 is busy getting ready for Pre-Calculus next year. We are learning skills right now that will be built
upon early in Pre-Cal. We finished solving rational equations and will begin graphing rational equations using
asymptotes. Friday will be used to make up homework or tests that are outstanding.

Algebra -- We have 1 more full week before our STAAR Algebra End-of-Course Exam on May 2. We are still
learning new material as well as reviewing things from the whole year. A test was given last week and if stu-
dents need to redo that test, then need to come in before school, during Activity period, or during Lab to take
a new test.
Geometry -- Test #1 on Circles on Monday. Then we will continue with concepts regarding secants, tangents,
and segments of circles throughout the rest of the week.

Chemistry will finish gas laws and take a test on Wednesday. They will then start on the Ideal Gas Law and add the con-
cept of moles to the other gas laws.
