Getting around Disneyland® Resort Paris

The quickest way is to use our free shuttle service!

A regular daily bus service (that is suitable for guests with disabilities) runs betweenthe hotels*, the Disney® Parks, the train station and Disney® Village until 11.30pm(1am in July/August).

A special shuttle service for wheelchair-bound guests runs daily between the Disney® Hotels,the Disney Parks, the train station and Disney Village (more details on the following page).

You can also use the signed footpaths that go from your Disney* Hotel to the Disney Parks,the train station and Disney Village.

A specially-adapted bus service is available totransport wheelchair-bound guests between“Marne-La-Vallée/Chessy” train station (RER, TGV,Eurostar), the Disney® Parks, Disney® Village andthe Disney® Hotels.

If you want to take advantage of this free service,please let your travel agent or our Booking Office(+33 (0)1 60 30 10 20) know when making yourreservation.

Arriving by plane

VEA buses are available to transfer guests to and fromRoissy/Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports, andDisneyland Resort Paris (journey takes approximately1 hour, depending on traffic). These buses areunsuitable for wheelchairs, but VEA can give you thedetails of taxi firms that are able to transportwheelchair-bound guests.Contact VEA 48 hours in advance to make yourreservation:

Arriving by car

All car parks at Disneyland® Resort Paris have speciallydesignated parking bays for mobility-impaired guests.

The Disney® Parks car park that is specially reserved forguests with disabilities is located close to the mainentrance to Disneyland® Park.

It can be accessed via the main Guest Parking area bypresenting your disability card or one of the otherdocuments listed on page 9.

N.B.: this car park is free of charge for Annual Dream,Fantasy and Francilien Passport holders (with a parkingoption).

Getting around the Resort

Our special shuttle service for guests with disabilitiesis available for use throughout your stay. To use theservice, simply enquire at your Disney Hotel’s receptiondesk, go to City Hall in Disneyland® Park, StudioServices in Walt Disney Studios® Park, the DisneyExpress desk on the 1st floor of the train station, or askthe driver of one of the Resort’s standard buses.

The shuttle service is available 7 days a week from7.30am to 11pm (until midnight in July/August).Waiting times vary from 15 to 45 minutes.

If you wish, you can also use the Resort’s standardbuses as they are also wheelchair-accessible.

N.B.: You must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18or over) who is capable of helping you onto and offthe vehicle.The shuttle service can only transport thewheelchair-bound guest and one helper.However, if you are with your family (parents and/orchildren), simply let us know when bookingthe service and we will send you a suitable vehiclethat can transport one wheelchair-bound guest and upto 6 other guests.

The Disney® HotelsAll of our hotels cater for mobility-impaired guests.

The rooms

We have various types of rooms that are adapted tomeet the needs of those in wheelchairs. Each room hasan extra-large bathroom with a bath, hand rails and araised toilet. Communicating rooms are available ifrequired.

Mobility-impaired guests can hire a special seat thatwill enable them to wash without assistance (to berequested when making the reservation). The bedroomdoor is fitted with a spyhole positioned at wheelchairheight.

N.B.: bathrooms at Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch®

are fitted with a shower that is suitable for themobility-impaired.

The Disney® ParksPark admission tickets

To benefit from reduced-price entry to the DisneyParks, you must purchase your admission ticket uponyour arrival. Simply go to either the Donald Desk (openuntil 1.30pm) or the Guest Relations Window (seepages 10/11 and 16/17), which are both located at themain entrances to the Disney Parks.

Guests that do not have a disability card can benefit fromthe same advantages as disability card holders as longas they are able to present one of the documents listedon page 9.

Helpers go free*

• Each physically disabled, hearing-impaired andvisually-impaired/blind guest can obtain a freeadmission ticket for one helper by presenting theirdisability card or one of the documents listed onpage 9.

• Those helping mentally disabled guests can alsoobtain a free admission ticket (one free ticket pergroup of 5 mentally disabled guests).

• Group tickets (for groups of 10 disabled guests or more)must be booked through our Booking Office’s Groupsdepartment on +33 (0)1 60 30 10 20.

For one-day visits, tickets should be collected from theGroup Tickets Window, located in the Guest Parkingarea.

N.B.:• Helpers are only given free admission when

a reduced-price admission ticket is purchased (at thePark entrance) for the disabled guest.

• There is no free admission for helpers assistingguests whose free tickets were issued by ourcommunity relations department.

* Our “helpers go free” offer may be withdrawn without prior notice.

Guide dogs

The majority of the attractions in the Disney® Parksaccept guide dogs, with the exception of those listedlater in this guide.

We tolerate guide dogs using the gardens to relievethemselves. We would advise you to bring a bowl sothat your dog can have regular drinks throughout theday.

N.B.: Please note that our Cast Members (Disneyemployees) cannot look after your guide dog.If you wish to go on an attraction that is unsuitable foryour dog, you will have to leave him/her with yourhelper.

Shops and restaurants

There is wheelchair access to all shops andrestaurants at Disneyland® Resort Paris.

All of our restaurants serve vegetarian dishes.Those with specific dietary needs should place theirorders 24 hours in advance. Those with allergies canconsult a mini-guide that is available on our website,www.disneylandparis.com.

To save time in table service and buffet servicerestaurants, don’t forget to book your table in advance:

Disney® Parks information desks

City Hall and Studio Services

When you visit the Disney Parks, pop into City Hall(Disneyland® Park) or Studio Services (Walt DisneyStudios® Park).

The Cast Members (Disney employees) will be glad toanswer all your questions and will advise you as towhich attractions are the most easily accessibleaccording to your disability.

They will also give you a copy of the Programme(detailing times of shows, parades and DisneyCharacters Meet ’n’ Greets).

Access to attractions

Easy Access Card

When you arrive at the Parks, please go to either CityHall or Studio Services with your helper(s) (adult aged18 or over).

A Cast Member (Disney employee) will advise you onaccess to attractions and will provide you with anEasy Access Card if required.

If you are part of a group of disabled guests, please sayso when booking your stay in order to facilitate theissuing of Easy Access Cards.

In order to receive an Easy Access Card, you will beasked to present your disability card or one of the otherdocuments listed on page 9.

In Walt Disney Studios® Park, the majority of attractionqueuing areas are wheelchair-accessible. See thedetailed section on the Parks.

How is it used?

The Easy Access Card allows you to access certainattractions via entrances that have been speciallyadapted for the mobility-impaired. However, it does notgive you priority access to attractions.

Warning: at attractions that require guests to transferfrom their wheelchair into the attraction vehicle,

please ensure you are accompanied by adults (aged18 or over) who are able to help you.

Wheelchair rental

Manual wheelchairs can be rented in the Disney® Parksat the Stroller & Wheelchair Rentals point locatedjust after the main entrance to each Park.

You will be asked to pay a €150 deposit, irrespective ofthe length of your stay. As we only have a limitednumber of wheelchairs, we would advise you to bringyour own wheelchair whenever possible.However, for safety reasons it must be in good workingorder.

Guests cannot reserve wheelchairs in advance.

N.B.: wheelchair rental is free for Annual DreamPassport holders (deposit required).

Please note that Cast Members (Disney employees)are not authorised to accompany you around theDisney Parks.

First Aid and specific needs

Each Park has a First Aid point

All members of staff working there are fully qualifiedand equipped to administer any emergency first aidguests may require.

Our teams can also provide most kinds ofmedically-prescribed nursing care (injections, drips,bandaging, checking vital signs, etc.) as long as youhave your prescription and any necessary equipmentand medication with you.

If you need to keep medication cool, you may leave it:

• in the Parks: at the First Aid point

• in the Hotels: in the fridge behind your hotel’sreception desk or in your bungalow’s own fridge ifyou are staying at Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch®.

Any other types of medical equipment cannot bereserved by Disneyland® Resort Paris.However, our Booking Office can put you in touch withexternal suppliers if you wish.

N.B.: our hotel minibars are unsuitable for storingmedication and specific foodstuffs.

Specially-designated spaces in the

Disney® Parks

Certain spaces along parade routes and in the Parks’theatres are exclusively reserved for Easy Access Cardholders.

Please note that it is nonetheless important to getthere early.

Shows

There are only a limited number of specially-designated spaces per show.Contact one of the Cast Members (Disney employees)at the entrance to the show for further information.

Disney Characters Meet ’n’ Greets

There are no specific facilities for guests withdisabilities at Disney Characters Meet ’n’ Greets points.However, Easy Access Card holders, disability cardholders and those with one of the documents listed onpage 9 are given priority access to Characters. Makeyourself known to one of the Cast Members (Disneyemployees) accompanying the Character.

Extra services to help you make

the most of your day

Reserve your ticket

on your arrival!

By using this FREE service, you can avoid having toqueue at the most popular attractions.

The symbol identifies attractions offering thisservice (see the following pages).

How does it work?

Firstly, insert your Park admission ticket into theFASTPASS® machine at the entrance to the attraction.

Secondly, take your FASTPASS® ticket indicating areturn time, and go off to enjoy other adventuresaround the Park.

Thirdly, return to the attraction at your ticketedtime and board in a matter of minutes via thespecial FASTPASS® entrance.

N.B.: you may only have one FASTPASS® ticket at atime. Another ticket can only be obtained once theprevious ticket has been used.The distribution of FASTPASS® tickets is subject toavailability of the service and tickets.

SHOPPING SERVICE - Free

To truly make the most of your day!

Don’t carry your purchases around with you – havethem delivered directly to your hotel.Ask the Cast Members (Disney employees) in any ofthe Disney shops for further details.

N.B.: this service is available for guests staying ata Disney® Hotel, Vienna International Dream CastleHotel, Kyriad Hotel, Thomas Cook's Explorers Hoteland Holiday Inn®.

Guided tours of the Parks (Charge)

Head off around the Park in the company of a guideand discover the magical mysteries of Disneyland®

Park as you’ve never seen it before, or uncover stacksof Silver Screen secrets in Walt Disney Studios® Park(2-hour tour around Disneyland Park and 1½-hour touraround Walt Disney Studios Park).

Information and reservations at the Guest RelationsWindows located at the entrance to the Disney®

Parks, or on +33 (0)1 64 74 21 26. Tickets are on saleat City Hall and Studio Services in the Disney Parks.

N.B.: to be able to take part in a guided tour, you musthave an admission ticket for the Park in which the touris taking place.

As soon as you arrive at the Parks,make sure you pick up the Park Guideand the Programme, which will giveyou details of Park opening hoursand the times of parades, shows andDisney Characters Meet ’n’ Greets.

23 Sleeping Beauty CastleDiscover the story of Sleeping Beauty.WARNING: there is no wheelchair access to the castledungeon.

La Galerie de la Belle au Bois Dormant

Lasts approximately 3 minutes.To leave the Gallery, get back in the lift and selectfloor 0. Ask a Cast Member (Disney employee) inLa Boutique du Château or at City Hall for the access code for the lift.

La Tanière du Dragon

Dragon’s lair beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle.Lasts approximately 3 minutes.Visit the dragon’s lair on the lower ground floor ofthe Castle. If you wish to visit the Gallery or the Lair,make yourself known to one of the Cast Members inLa Boutique du Château or at City Hall.

He or she will show you to the lift that will take you upto the Gallery (1st floor) or down to the Lair (lowerground floor).

If you only want to visit the Lair, head down the pathlocated to the left of the drawbridge.

For safety reasons, wheelchairs may not accessthe Gallery during parades.

24 Blanche-Neige et les Sept NainsRide through the dark and mysterious forestof Snow White. Vehicles travel quickly throughthe dark.Lasts approximately 3 minutes.Guests with disabilities should access the attraction viathe exit located next to Les Voyages de Pinocchio.

31 Alice’s Curious LabyrinthFind your way through Wonderland’s wonderfulmaze.Lasts approximately 15 minutes.Access located to the right of the main entrance.

WARNING: there is no wheelchair access to the“Queen of Hearts Castle” section (86 steps).

32 Mad Hatter's Tea CupsSpin, whirl, twist and twirl in a giant tea cup.Lasts approximately 3 minutes.Head towards the exit located to the right of the mainentrance. A Cast Member (Disney employee) will showyou to a vehicle.

WARNING: due to the centrifugal force that is generatedby the spinning of the tea cups, this attraction is notsuitable for guests who find it difficult to stay in a seatedposition.

33 Casey Jr. - le Petit Train du CirqueBoard Dumbo’s circus train for a rolling ride thatlittle ones will love!Lasts approximately 3 minutes.

34 Le Pays des Contes de FéesCruise through miniature fairytale scenesfrom the Disney Classics.Lasts approximately 3 minutes.

35 “it’s a small world”A magical and tuneful indoor boat ride aroundthe world.Lasts approximately 10 minutes.Head to the exit located between the entrance tothis attraction and the entrance to The Old Mill.Let a Cast Member (Disney employee) know that youare ready to ride.

36 Le Théâtre du ChâteauRoyal Castle Stage.See details and times in the Programme.

26 Le Carrousel de LancelotMount your steed and ride off into a medievallegend.Lasts approximately 5 minutes.Go to one of the two exits located opposite SleepingBeauty Castle, and make yourself known to a CastMember (Disney employee).

A dinner-show recreating the show presented byWilliam Frederick Cody, better known as Buffalo Bill, atthe turn of the 20th century. Chow down on traditionalWestern fare whilst enjoying an authentic showfeaturing horses, bison, cowboys and Indians.Lasts approximately 1½ hours.Shows at 6.30pm and 9.30pm except on certain dates,please consult us.Hearing-impaired, visually-impaired and mentally disabledguests can get 50% off the standard ticket price by presentingtheir disability card or one of the documents listed on page 9.
