Solutions may often be found in the root cause e.g. values conflicts will have values based solutions

Preventing damaging conflict •Respect other people•Criticism must be constructive and sensitive•Don’t make assumptions•Don’t make decisions that affect people’s work without consulting them•Encourage healthy conflict •Don’t make or condone attacks on other people, either publicly or privately•Look for ways for people to get out of the conflict with their dignity•Make sure that you are seen to be fair
