CONFIGURING YOUR NEW Bb COURSE TO ACCESS YOUR PREVIOUS PANOPTO VIDEOS

To enable a Panopto folder from a previous course to be used in a current course you will need to CONFIGURE your new course with a link to the older Panopto course folder. This will allow you to give your students access to files/videos stored in a previous Panopto course folder. Copying a link from semester to semester will not copy the Panopto folder into your new course. It only copies the link, which is non-functional in the new course.

Follow the steps below to reconfigure your new BB course with access to files in a previously-used Panopto course folder thereby sharing older videos with your current students.

There are two ways to get to the PANOPTO server through your NEW Bb course.

1) Through the TOOLS button or link:

2) By  creating  your  own  ‘TOOL  LINK’  button  or  link:  

BOTH these methods will lead you to the PANOPTO COURSE TOOL APPLICATION, and thus, your own folders.

To  connect  this  course  with  a  previous  folder,  you  will  need  to  ‘re-configure.’  Once  in  the  Panopto  server  field,  as  seen  below,  scroll  down  using  the  bars  on  the  right  until  the  ‘Re-Configure’  link  appears.

Click  ‘Re-Configure.’

Now  you  should  be  able  to  add  links  to  the  content  from  previous  courses’  Panopto  video  folders  as  follows:
